Foxfire Golf Club

I golfed with my teenage son there for the first time. We enjoyed the day together and thought the course was well maintained and fun. The staff was helpful and pleasant as well. The value was very good. We will be going back.

We booked this through GolfNow, although it would still be worth it for the regular rates. Course was well kept, had character so it wasn't boring. Played quickly although had to wait on many holes for a twosome that was in front of us that wasn't very good. Maybe have the ranger check once in a while.

They have a net to warm up, which is nice. Greens are very technical and nice. Not a ton of variation in tee shots. Staff was pretty unaware of what was happening. Bartender lied about not having beer, staff didn't know if Kitchen was open at 7pm. Pace of play was very slow. Quite a few very drunk 4-somes taking forever. Normal price, course is not worth it.. got a deal on GolfNow so it was a fair price.

Course was in great shape. I was a single and two foursome let me play through with no problems. It was.a 2 1/2 hour 18 hole round.

Staff was friendly. Course was reasonably priced. Greens were little burned out for early May but rolled true and very fast. Nice round and biggest surprise was the bar restaurant was outstanding.

Despite scorching heat and torrential rains during the week, the golf course was in good shape. The germs, especially, rolled true and faster than expected. There a still some signs of winter damage by hey it's Wisconsin. There's a ton of stuff in the area to do for non- players, too. Try it you'll like it.

Huge well kept greens that roll true and fast. Course is beautiful. Pace was great until home 13. Then it was a snails pace. Will be back though!

All the courses in Central WI seem to have gone crazy this year. Prices THRU THE ROOF! Think Foxfire is charging $75 weekday with cart? Anyway saw $38 Hot Deal Tues night. By Wed morning it was $27. Jumped on that. So value was spot on. Course in good shape as usual and greens rolling fast. There were about 5-6 pins that were in STUPID locations. Not as stupid as the GCSAA tourney they had here last year. Overall good round on a good course.
