Good value
Great value. Empty course but it was hot. Gold tees were up by red tees so very little difference. Really hard pin placements. Grass was longer around the greens than normal. I would guess some type of tournament were the reason for those conditions. Nice course overall and well maintained for the hot conditions.
Nice course
Interesting layout with lots of elevation change. Great value and friendly staff. We’ve had a lot of rain and severe flooding so there was more mud than you’d like and debris but it’s no surprise. Back nine greens had been punched so they were hard to judge. Some tough pin placements. Greens a little slow overall but maybe due to the excessive rain. I’ll be back soon. Fun layout and friendly folks.
Scenic course
This was an enjoyable course to play. The fairways were nicely cut with very few issues. The greens were very soft and cut very tight. Tee boxes were in good shape. I really enjoyed playing this course and recommend it is worth the drive.
Scenic course
Well kept course. A couple of the greens had some rough spots but overall the greens were soft and cut right. Most fairways were groomed nicely. T boxes were kept up nicely. No sand traps were found during this round. Do not believe there are any. Pace of play was perfect. 2nd cut in many of the fairways was thick and full.
Was worth the drive
I'm consulting in NE Arkansas and finding a golf course in decent shape this spring has been a challenge.
I drove 90 minutes to The Golf Course on Turkey Mountain and finally found a course where the fairways and greens were in good condition. The elevation changes and the layout of the course made this course an enjoyable experience.
I would drive 90 minutes to play this course again.
