Hidden Gem!!
I am staying in a small town an hour away from Cooper’s Hawk. I will continue to make that drive as often as I can to play this course. It is excellently maintained, and the greens roll smoothly.
A Gem!
I had heard nothing but good things about this course, so I made the 1-hour 45-minute drive to Melbourne from Jonesboro. Not an easy drive, on mostly 2-lane state highways. But it was worth the drive! It's incredible to find a course like this in such a small, rural community. And, what a course. Everything about it- the tees, the fairways, the greens- couldn't have been better. There are several holes on the back nine with a water feature that was not operating, that must be spectacular when it is. My suggestions for improvement are few. There should be a course map on the scorecard. I'd suggest water available on every 2nd 3rd hole when it's that hot. The front nine greens have very little contouring to them, so the putts have little break. Despite the long drive, I'll be back and would recommend this course to anyone!
Byrdman
I loved the course. Immaculate condition with the exception of the bunkers. The sand was crunchy and hard. Tees, fairways, and greens were wonderful. I was a little nervous when I pulled in but man am I glad I made the hour drive.
A real treat!
Very friendly staff & maintenance crew. Course was impressive and on very good condition. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.
What a Gem
Absolute Gem in north central Arkansas. If your in the area, make time to play a round.
Top Notch
One of the more fun public courses I’ve played in the Midwest. Course was in great shape for being early in the season, pace of play could not have been better…played as a single and made it through 18 in just over 2 hours. Well worth the 3 hour drive from Springfield to get there. Top notch all the way around!
Great day
I really liked the layout. There had been a tornado in the area 3 days earlier so there were a lot of little sticks on the greens. Can’t fault them for that. I saw blowers twice so they’re trying. Greens were short and probably recently reseeded and fertilized but they rolled true and consistent. Really enjoyed it. I’ll be back soon.
Great course!
If there is a golf loversl’s paradise in Arkansas, it’s Cooper's Hawk. Cooper’s Hawk is as good as it gets, it’s an experience in the State that all golfers should have.

Coopers Hawk
I traveled an hour and a half to try this course out and wasn’t disappointed. Course was in great shape and I liked the layout of the course. Hour an a half or not I’ll be going back.
Awesome golf course
We have maybe 6-8 okay courses in north central Arkansas, Coopers Hawk is definitely my favorite. Course is in great shape and the restaurant attached is terrific. Very friendly staff. 10/10 recommend
