Coopers Hawk Golf Course

This golf course is very well maintained with its fairways, bunkers, tee boxes and everything else you can think of to have a nice fun day at the golf course. If your passing through town I would 100% recommend playing this golf course to have a relaxing day.

This is a beautiful course and it was in great shape. Staff is friendly and the restaurant makes a really good hamburger. Don’t pass up this course if you are in the area.

I would rate Coopers Hawk in the top 10 public courses in Arkansas. Mystic Creek in El Dorado, a couple of courses in Hot Springs Village and in Bella Vista and Cypress Creek in Cabot are also in the top 10. Coopers Hawk is also an incredible value!! It is worth the drive to Melbourne! Their pro, Deane Pappas is an 8 time winner on the pga tour!!!!

An extremely well maintained course that will challenge all players. The staff is about as friendly and accommodating as you will find anywhere, anytime. Truly a pleasure to visit the course and facilities and be treated like an old friend. This is the second year in a row to play here and will return ASAP..

Course was great, staff friendly. Had people jump in front and start their round on hole 5 without saying a word to us as we were finishing on the green and keeping pace with the group in front of us and they were slowing the pace as it was. Nothing to do with the course or staff just holes you can encounter anywhere.

Saw this course online while planing an Arkansas trip and decided to give it a try. So glad we did, this course is awesome, in great shape and has character galore.

And the staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful, no5 to mention funny and great to have a conversation with.

I recommend it 1000%.

Course a bit flat, staff not the friendliest. Great amenities! Would definitely recommend.

First time playing in Arkansas and I picked a still partially hidden gem. Overall decent condition given a challenging winter. Greens could have been a little quicker but they were smooth. A few more winter weeds too, but nothing major. Nice variety of holes and fairly wide open but trouble still lurks with stray shots. A few creeks and a nice lake come into play as well. It might be out in the boonies, but worth the effort to find Cooper’s Hawk.

I am staying in a small town an hour away from Cooper’s Hawk. I will continue to make that drive as often as I can to play this course. It is excellently maintained, and the greens roll smoothly.

I had heard nothing but good things about this course, so I made the 1-hour 45-minute drive to Melbourne from Jonesboro. Not an easy drive, on mostly 2-lane state highways. But it was worth the drive! It's incredible to find a course like this in such a small, rural community. And, what a course. Everything about it- the tees, the fairways, the greens- couldn't have been better. There are several holes on the back nine with a water feature that was not operating, that must be spectacular when it is. My suggestions for improvement are few. There should be a course map on the scorecard. I'd suggest water available on every 2nd 3rd hole when it's that hot. The front nine greens have very little contouring to them, so the putts have little break. Despite the long drive, I'll be back and would recommend this course to anyone!

I loved the course. Immaculate condition with the exception of the bunkers. The sand was crunchy and hard. Tees, fairways, and greens were wonderful. I was a little nervous when I pulled in but man am I glad I made the hour drive.

Very friendly staff & maintenance crew. Course was impressive and on very good condition. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.

Absolute Gem in north central Arkansas. If your in the area, make time to play a round.
