Reviews
Course is in poor condition
The course is in poor condition at this time of year and not draining well. Some of the greens are still being re turfed so the layout is not smooth. However, its great they have spare holes so you still get 18 even though some are out of action. Slow play was a problem following a 4B all putting out. Out in 2.5 hours. Back in 1.5 hours after we got past. Great clubhouse meals.
Nice course
The course was in great condition. Play a little slow with alot of members playing comps. Pin locations on slopy greens probably most challenging part of the course. Just a tip, changerooms/ toilets if you arrive early, the toilets are located at the very back of the club house - no signage???
Too slow players
We have to wait and go every single hole to finish. Overall Noone care about slow play.
The course condition was not good as well.
not pleasure to play.
Great weather after CYCLONE Alfred
Course was well maintained after cyclone Alfred greens were nice. Nice staff in pro shop 👌
Great day out
Considering the damage caused by the storm the team managed to get the course in pretty good condition.
Take plenty of insect repellant for the midges.
Good test of ability
Although the course appears straight forward, you have to choose your landing areas carefully.
The greens are no very receptive - good shots into the green are not rewarded as the greens are hard and the ball bounces and then runs through the green - another reason for choosing landing spots carefully.
Good fun on a rainy day
Managed to complete 10 holes before I got drenched with rain. The course was flooded at different places. Took me a while to find the next holes at times but overall a good experience. Will come back to improve my score. The club house is nice and the coffee was great on this rainy day.
The course is well maintained with a good variety of holes
I played in mid-spring so some course maintenance was being undertaken, with one hole out of play but with an additional hole added whilst the work is completed. Some of the greens were still recovering from spiking and sanding but again this shows the care that is taken to get the course in top condition. There's a really nice layout with scenic views, a very relaxing course to play on. There are well positioned hazards with well maintained bunkers, water hazards, and undulation on and around the greens. I was very impressed with the course and it is a bit of a hidden gem, I think it would appeal to golfers of all levels.

Great course
Great course, staff were amazing & all round a great day.
Thank you Stewart
It was my wife’s first game of golf. Ever.
And we had Stewart join us and he was an absolute champion. He looked after my wife and I and he was patient and understanding.
Never met Stewart before and all I know was he was a RBGC member.
Thank you Stewart.
