Mount Shasta Resort

This is a hidden gem. Lush green course with hills and trees that’s picturesque through and through. Every hole I had to stop and just admire the beauty. It’s a challenging course with a few narrow fairways and trees will block your shot to the pin so fairway accuracy is very important. Greens are very well taken care of, the whole course is. This is the best course I have ever played. I played 9 driving through mount shasta and just spent the night there so I could play 18 the next day because I loved it so much. For what this course costs to play it’s a no brainer. They could be charging way more so take advantage before it becomes a championship course!

It’s been nice to see them working on improving the course. Definitely better conditions than earlier in the year! The pro shop staff is great to work with. They’re always super friendly and helpful!

I do wish the snack shack had more extensive hours.

On the way home from Oregon, decided to plan a 18 hole for the drive home. Looked like a nice course from all the pictures I saw. It couldn’t have exceeded my expectations more, was by the most beautiful course I’ve ever played and I can’t wait to visit it again

It was a beautiful day at the Mt Shasta Resort! I got my first hole in one on lucky number 13!

The course is beautifully maintained and challenging but fun! My husband and I both enjoy the versatility of the holes and course layout.

Pro shop staff is always helpful and lunch after is always delicious! Highly recommend.

I was golfing as single and i had the option to play solo or play with another group. I teamed up with the group, We had a great time hanging out and looking for our balls! The golf course is dry/hard and some fairways need work, but they are coming out of a long winter so I’m sure the grounds crew will get it wiped into shape!

Have played here numerous times and always enjoyed it. It’s a must do when camping at McCloud RV park.

Second time playing, starting to understand the layout and when to hit driver or less than driver. Course is picturesque, but the fairways and some of the tee boxes need attention. But, it is approaching winter and the course will soon shut down, so looking forward to playing it next year.

Staff is friendly and the pace of play was wide open, no one in front or behind. Finished in 3:45 hours.

Fun course to play. Awesome layout. Lots of elevation, more than a few blind greens. Some narrow fairways with plenty of blackberry bushes to lose your ball in. Great views all the way around

Some tight fairways, with quite a few thin on grass, lots of up and down. Greens were generally good, some had moss, tees were not as good, lot of fairways were thin on grass but I enjoyed the course.

We play this course a few times each year and have enjoyed it very much. This year we were shocked at the condition of the driving range. Usually plush and green, now dead grass. This carried over to the course unfortunately. There were brown and bare spots in almost all the fairways. To the point that you couldn’t find a green spot in the middle of the fairway. I’m not writing this to beat you up. Just can’t imagine what could have happened. Hopefully you are in the process of correcting it to its normal high and beautiful condition. We wish you well with the recovery.

The view alone is amazing. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. They are very happy to give you the layout of the course. The practice facilities are well equipped and in great shape. The tee boxes and fairways standout among the rough which is to say is not a danger of engulfing your poorly placed shot. The greens are receptive and allowed me to spin some shots. They run about 10 to 11 on the stimp meter. The company of other golfers is welcomed and doesn't feel uncomfortable like in other courses. I highly recommend if you have the time play this course.
