A world above
The view alone is amazing. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. They are very happy to give you the layout of the course. The practice facilities are well equipped and in great shape. The tee boxes and fairways standout among the rough which is to say is not a danger of engulfing your poorly placed shot. The greens are receptive and allowed me to spin some shots. They run about 10 to 11 on the stimp meter. The company of other golfers is welcomed and doesn't feel uncomfortable like in other courses. I highly recommend if you have the time play this course.

Don’t miss this course!
This course was awesome! Difficult but enjoyable layout. Incredible views! They had nearly a dozen people working on the course. It is well worth the money and the 3.5 hours to play.

Weather was great
It’s only one hour 25 minutes from Redding and the staff allowed us to get an earlier start time as we arrived two hours early and we didn’t affect the flow of the game. Paid more attention to the view then my golf game as it’s very picturesque from all the tees.

Hilly, tough, but beautiful
The staff at checkin was helpful and polite. It was a Wednesday and we practically had the course to ourselves. We spent a lot of time looking for tee balls, lol, as the fairways are somewhat narrow with trees lining them like most mountain courses. We took a cart and I'm glad we did, it's very hilly.
The views of Mt Shasta were spectacular. The greens were perfect, the rough was lush.

Hit it straight
Good course, well maintained but you have to hit the ball in play. Blackberry bushes are unforgiving. I will have to play again to get to know the course there is a lot of blind hitting up and down hills.

The Majestic Mount Shasta
So beautiful totally green everything is really well watered. Mount Shasta is framed with many holes. It’s maybe one of the prettiest golf courses on the West Coast.

Perfect day
The overall condition of the course was good. Recently the greens were verta cut so they were still healing. It helps to have course knowledge because there are a lot of blind shots. I would definitely play there again
