Nice cheap course
For $16 you can play through the 9-hole course twice. Friendly pro shop. Course has a few challenges that will test any golfer. Pace of play was great, we finished 9-holes in an hour and a half.
Reminiscent of St. Andrews
From the Tin Cup driving range to the windswept fairways, bumpy greens and Sandy tee boxes—i wondered why I was able to book such a hidden jewel on short notice on a Saturday. Reminiscent of St. Andrews old course, just after the war.

Need some "me" time!
Great as always as a 2 or solo. They are great at Stoney Creek and always helpful. Thank you for this time and place. We all need some quiet time and the bulls aren't talking.
Beginners Welcome
This is a great place for those just starting out. Greens are a bit rough at the moment, but predictable. 3-4 and 5 get a bit jumbled when it's a busy day. A great par 3 course with a few opportunities to use a driver.
Great round!
Played 18, and only have complaints about the green conditions. Everything else was great, and staff was friendly.
Quaint course
Tucked away in the countryside outside of the city, this course is fun to play. A very walkable course with a few tricks to keep in mind, Stoney Creek is well worth the effort to get there to work on your short game without the pressure of bigger courses.
A couple of the greens were a tad beaten up, but otherwise the course was in good shape.

Another Wonderful Day
I have not reviewed Stoney in a while and the greens look wonderful. The temperature was lovely as it usually is. There is enough shade to make it very pleasant. This is just a great way to relax and work on your short game.
Great value and fun course
Have taken my nephew here a couple of times and we love it. Great people, great value, and a fun layout with interesting challenges. The greens could be improved, but that’s my only gripe about condition. Great distances to work on irons and wedges, lots on insulation in the fairway, and plenty of challenging holes for skilled players. We will definitely come back!
