Poor Condition / Horrible local interaction
The place is currently a 3yr old sand box. Not worth $20. A bucket of balls at the driving range would give you a better experience and practice considering you only need 3 clubs to play this course.
Course management and HOA allow residents not playing golf, to roam the course with dogs off leash 30 yards away from owner. They will harass and threaten you. Stand Your Ground! Then the deranged residents will call management on you for getting frustrated about confrontations with them.
Find a better course to spend your money on! Don't play here especially if you are an average to good golfer. Watch out on hole #2 / #3 / #4 for deranged old man that roams around with his dog off leash. Stay safe!
Course in Poor Condition / Absurd and Dangerous Homeowner encounter
I’ve been going to this course for over 15yrs. Today was the absolute worse experience! The course is a child’s sand box. The greens are all sand, the tee boxes have no grass. You get Zero value from playing this course. Don’t waste your money! They won’t warn you and will just take your money. Very dishonest people. Go hit a bucket of balls at the driving range instead.
DANGER!!!!
The Greenway Golf Course Management are very unprofessional!!! They don’t care about your safety at all. They allow an HOA resident on hole #4 to roam the course, not playing golf, just wondering around looking for confrontation, with his dog off leash 30 yards away and letting it run up to un expected golfers barking and nipping at your feet. Then dangerously threatens you and harasses you for STANDING YOUR GROUND!
This deranged, mentally ill old man, knows the course management and called in to get me kicked off the course and banned for life (haha) after physically threatening me three times!! The threats that came out of his mouth as he walked back into his house were extremely dangerous! I should have called the police.
Other members of GreenWay HOA should be ashamed!!! Treating your neighbors and locals just trying to have fun and play golf like that is absolutely shameful!!
Be careful and watch your back! I would recommend to not play as a single, go with a friend! Stay vigilant, and watch your back around hole #2 / #3 and #4.
Hope you see this and choose a different option! Be Safe!!
Small but challenging.
Don’t let the yardage fool you. The greens are challenging. There’s water. There’s a big tree on #4 partially blocking the green. Short irons; demanding approach shots. A very pleasant walk and an equally pleasant low price. Rent out the course and adjacent swimming pool for a fun party.
Good deal
Greens were in pretty good condition . Greens are fun and challenging short fast course to play and low priced only thing I definitely recommend is tee boxes were in very bad shape.
don't walk... run... 0/5 stars
This place is a cow pasture. I don't know how in the world they stay open. I walked 4 holes and left. Not for serious golfers. Go here with your family or children to learn/spend time. Not to play a good 9 holes. Teeboxes are all dirt. Holes are super short. Pro shop is the size of a bathroom. Never again. I feel scammed.
Greenskeeper and Maintenance
Watch out for the one greenskeeper, as he's not friendly! As a matter of fact, they just like to get in your way when teeing off. They do not have the common courtesy or ethics, to either move completely out of the way when you're teeing off and or turning off their equipment when they're right next to you as you're putting. I've never encountered such a disrespectful, rude and unethical greenskeeper in my life! I'll never come back here again because of this dissatisfying experience!!
Nice Short Game Track
This is a great place. That is well manicured to work on your short iron, pitching, and up and down game. The greens are a little challenging and there are some water hazards hit them straight !
Good par 3 course.
This is one of the safest courses to play, open space and only the ocassional waterway. All of the course had well kept greens as well as the forgiving bunkers.
Walk only course as to be expected for a Par 3 course. Not much elevation changes so the walking was comfortable and enjoyable. Would recommend to all skill levels and will definitely be returning.
Soft grass
Course is in great shape compared to others around. Greens are well kept and the grass is soft.
Great, short, easy course
Great course—good for beginners. Small, not long enough to use the driver with short yardage distances.
Nice par 3
Nice par 3, interesting slopes on greens. Good place to work short game.
Absolutely fantastic track, it’s obvious the grounds crew take pride in their jobs! The greens were in amazing condition, showed some undulation, and ran true. Some really well placed hazards and a nice variety of hole lengths. Overall, for a short par three course it’s well worth the money and very well kept. 10/10 recommend
