Tee boxes in poor shape and aerated all dirt. Fairways hard pan, poor turf. I’m sure course will improve as cool weather and rain helps conditions. Very friendly staff, very slow play
The course condition was horrible! I can’t believe there are so many people who gave a 5 star review. We drove all the way from Queens hoping to get a decent round but the course condition just threw me off! Tee boxes were torn up, fairways were mostly “first cut” length, bunkers full of rocks, no sand, greens were not in good shape (not just the aerification) and many ground repairs needed. The only good thing was that there was not much traffic on the course, we finished the round in 4 hours which was nice.

Challenging woods course!
Excellent course for the money. Narrow fairways and fast greens were challenging but in the best way possible. We showed up for a 4:10 tee time and the staff encouraged us to try and finish 18 which was awesome. Definitely not going to be my last time golfing there.

Great 9
While it’s true that this easy 9 hole course attracts a lot of beginners and inexperienced players, the pace of play is not too bad and course is always in great shape. Very flat and easily walkable.

Extremely slow play we quit after nine holes took almost three hours

What happened?
Can't believe what I saw! I have played here many of times. It's a shame this course went down hill? Money trouble? You have members that pay for a membership. You give them that? Traps terrible and fairyways bare. Only saving grace is the greens great. Hope this course doesn't close.

Dry Fairways & Wet Greens
Tough year for Golf courses. No rain, Dry Hard Fairways & to much water on the Greens. Inconsistent conditions & lack of maintenance. This course is worn out..!

Pleasant round of golf.
No complaints. Course was very nice and in good shape. Very nice staff. Pace was very good. Tough off the tee at times because some fairways are narrow, but that's golf, just learn to hit your tee shots straight! Overall very nice experience.

A big disappointment for $75
This course was a big disappointment. I will try the Links on the other side of the street, but I do not think I will play this course again. Like most 18-hole golf courses, there were some nice holes. #2 a Par 3 is a very nice hole. And there were a few others, but for the most part, many holes just looked the same. Fairways lined with trees and some bunkers here and there with holes varying in yardage. My ball ended up in abandoned bunkers, no longer cared for, with weeds growing in it and zero sand. Some of these bunkers were actually in the tree line. The greens were nice, soft and slow, but nice. Fairways were a 7 out of 10, decent shape, inconsistent from hole to hole. As a senior, my $28 greens fee at Montauk Downs is a much better golf course, not even close. Gold tees were 5600 and whites were 6200. I'm have a 12 index so the whites were the appropriate tees.

Well maintained course
Great course to play on. Well maintained. They don’t call it the woods ar cherry creek for nothing. If your ball gets lost in the trees good luck finding it

Good value
Course was in very good shape
Except for many of the bunkers were lacking playable sand. Greens were at first very slow and as it dried out very fast. Challenging test of your skills.
