Good spring round
Course in excellent condition especially for this time of year. Pace of play good. Lots of improvements since last time I played.
Great value
Check in was smooth with friendly staff. Easy layout in very good condition, even though it hadn’t rained in several weeks. Started on time but pace was a bit slow, otherwise a nice course and well worth the trip.
Beautiful day…..PAINFULLY SLOW Pace
5+15 HR round of golf ⛳️ UGH. No marshal
Course in great shape!
Good Place to Play
Relatively a good course. Fairways are all close but not congested. Has some very picturesque holes that make playing interesting.
Nice Course
It was my first time playing the course and I was not disappointed. It was a fairly tight course but played well without much interference from neighbouring holes. Not a very challenging course but was good enough. There are some very pituresque holes! Couldn't help but take a picture at one of them.
Nice afternoon
I played the course and it was in Great condition.
Will be back soon
Old Home Week
I've been playing Wedgewood for almost 50 years, with periods of both regular play and gaps of a few years along the way. It has always been a favorite of both my brother and me, and for the past 25 years my brother's two adult sons have often played with us as well. I've recently moved back to the Lehigh Valley and learned that there had been a change of management and/or ownership during or prior to my last absence. This produced some unwelcome changes from what had long been in place there.
There are now only three ball washers on the entire course, one on the first hole of each of the three nines. There are only 150-yard and 100-yard markers on holes where there are any at all, and they are often undiscernible since they appear to be simply multi-purposed white and red tee markers and only on the edges of the fairways...with leaves on the ground at this time of year they were often difficult to find. I didn't notice any water coolers either, although in fairness it was a very pleasant day yesterday and none of us were looking for them as we would have been on a hot summer day...but water coolers are large and prominent, and I'm sure we would not have missed them in any event if they had actually been there.
Nothing of what I've described above ruined our experience however, but it was a bit diminished by the absence of things that have long been standard on most if not all golf courses and had been at Wedgewood for decades.
