Island Pines Golf Club

We play a lot during our vacations abroad. This is our sixth time in Florida area. We find the courses thru Golfnow.com application. We play bigger an more expensive clubs, but also smaller courses. We play every day and also every time different course. This was the first time ever in any country we did not feel welcome.

The local players seemed to be very friedly, but the registration process went very badly. I hope similar thing would never happen in any course in Finland, where we are from.

I hope all the best for the course, but would advice the personnel to be friendly with outside coming players. Tervari

played behind Thursday 3pm men's groupings. they were very nice and try to help us because of the back up on the 1st couple holes, once groups got moving, the pace was excellent. they waved us on at the #10 as they finished their 9, we sailed thru the back nine. Finished in 3 hours.. course was in great shape and the greens were excellent. . thanks to Anthony and his group

Nice greens. Narrow fairways that slope to water. Challenging.

I went into the pro shop to check in. I stood at the counter for about five or seven minutes. The lady working in the bar looked at me numerous times but never said a word or acknowledge me. I finally walked over and asked where the pro was and she said that would be me. You check in with me. After that it went smoothly. However it really ticked me off that she never acknowledged me and she knew I was obviously there to play golf as I was standing at the counter. The golf course itself was fantastic. She could learn some manners.

GREENS WERE SHOT. NO FAIRWAYS COULD NOT TELL FAIRWAYS FROM THE ROUGH.VERY VERY POOR CONDITION. SHOULD CLOSE UNTIL THEY HAVE FAIRWAYS WITH SOME TURF.

Did the deal on Golfnow. It was a great course for the price. However at full price of $45, there would be many other choices. It was a little screwy at the pro shop as there is no one there. The lady working in the bar looked at me three times while I stood at the pro shop counter for 10 minutes. She never even acknowledge me but I saw her looking at me. I finally went over and asked where was Person to check in with and she said that would be me. Really kind of ticked me off. She had the personality of a dead fish. The course was in excellent condition as were the greens. Again for the right price it’s a great course but for $45 there are a lot of great courses.

Course is in nice shape. A lot of water hazards and some moderately long par 3 holes.

Friendly reception and check in.. Started at our assigned tee time. We did not have to wait and did not get pushed. A very enjoyable round

One person could not make the tee time for a health reason and I still had to pay. I was not impressed as I have used golf now ten times in the last month

What a happy surprise to see that golf course sooo improved! Greens and around verry green! We are going back and so you should try it!
