West Bend Lakes

Not much really to say about this course. New ownership has done a good job at revitalizing the clubhouse to make it very enjoyable pre and post round. Fees are a little more expensive then you'd like for the experience you get. Layout is quite bland on the front 9 but becomes more exciting and challenging as you make the turn and finish on 18. Only knock I can give this course is the poor drainage it has. Obviously this round was played in winter on a decent 50 degree day in December so I expected some meh conditions. But I've played here in peak summer days and it seems to always be wet out there. Maybe I'm unlucky but that just happens to be the experience.

Course conditions were poor. The cart was well used.

The only reason I went average on course conditions ( and no fault of theirs) because it rain an awful lot the previous day. But was thankful could still play

The course and the staff were great, Christian as super professional and understanding and made sure we were taken care and enjoy our round.

My issue was Golfnow didn’t pay the green fee and didn’t book the tee time I selected 4 days prior. I was charged for the green fees and I was sent a confirmation for the tee time, but when I arrived at the golf course, it was as I didn’t pay or had a tee time.

I’m happy Christian form West Bens Lakes Golf Course was a total professional and didn’t let Golfnow dropping the ball ruin our weekend golf outing, CUDOS!

The only reason I play this course is that it's a few miles from my house. Their claim to fame is that they are always open, even in the winter. This being said, uneven tee boxes horrible greens and over priced.
