Sherwood Forest Country Club

Sherwood Forest Golf Club is a public, nine-hole course tucked away amongst rolling hills, just outside of Appleton. The conveniently located course is just a short drive from anywhere in the Fox Valley, but its surroundings amongst towering mature trees makes it feel like a more distant getaway. Despite any preconceived notions you may have about nine-hole golf courses, this layout offers a considerable amount of challenge from the back tees, which measure to just under 3,000 yards. The gentle hills provide subtle but tricky contours throughout the course. The trees, while scenic, account for much of the course's difficulty. They line the fairways and frame the greens.
