About
At 7,201 yards, Coyote Golf Club in New Hudson has a layout that will appeal to long hitters. The course requires more than just the ability to hit long drives, though, with abundant water features and numerous strategically placed bunkers. Accuracy and creative shot-making are necessary to successfully maneuver the variety of hazards. Coyote's back nine is more open than the densely forested front nine, but it plays longer. The hole finishes with a memorable par 5. This hole presents an interesting risk-reward opportunity with marshland that runs diagonally towards the triple-tiered green, which is also sloped from back to front. The level of quality displayed by the challenging design is also apparent in the immaculate conditions. It has a longstanding reputation for being one of southeastern Michigan's best-conditioned golf courses.

Great Course - Challenging
Great course, very challenging. Shot placement is critical, beautiful fall scenery.
Rough shape
Tee boxes and greens are beat to hel! Good for practice but good luck putting. Not very many like to fix their divots, the grave on the front 9 speaks nothing but the truth!
Eh not worth the money
The staff aren’t friendly or happy to see you.
Course is blah - got great value
Great layout/poorly maintained
Great layout to this course! You get some really good up north feelings of how some of the holes are laid out. Was very disappointed to see the pre round driving range look like a fairway bunker upon arrival. Should have looked prior to paying for a bucket of balls. I was anticipating the course to be in equal shape but was pleasantly surprised. Only a few of the tee boxes were chewed up and the divot marks on the greens are no fault to the grounds crew
Worst for last
The 18th hole - imho - has to be one of the dumbest golf holes ever.
It’s a Par 5 that most golfers won’t be able to carry the marsh on the tee shot so they’ll layup.
However, laying up is a problem because you can’t get an accurate yardage because at least from the blue tees, it’s on an angle
So I guessed and laid up with my 220 yard three wood that I choked down on. I ended up being about three from the Heather
My second shot over the Heather was completely blind because the Heather was so tall this time of season. But I cleared the Heather safely.
For my third shot, I have 195 yard carry over the water and 210 yards to the pin. I’m not trying to ruin my round so I have to lay up a second time.
So let’s recap part five with a layup off the T a blind second shot in the layup for my third shot

Overall Great Experience
I've played this course a few times in the last few years. Staff is always friendly.
Pace of play was spot on - not long or too fast. Course conditions were good. The tee boxes are always a little wonky or uneven.
It's a bummer this course may be closed eventually for another housing development. I'll have to play it once more before that happens.
Great Day
Played on 7.6.25 in a threesome and made it around in 4 hours. Almost impossible anymore. Great conditions.
Great course
Piece of play was good. Greens were in very good condition.
Solid
Good layout and variety, plenty long, everything including greens in great shape. Pace of play was good, beverage cart service good, nothing to complain about, definitely worth the $40 I paid on TeeOff.
