Kensington Metropark

Pretty well taking care of golf course greens could use work a lot of twisting from people walking with spikes. The worst part is the pace of play. You spend a lot of time waiting at a tee box behind other groups

Beautiful day, course was in peak condition, staff were very engaging..

First time golfing here. Course was in good shape. Sad to see several downed trees from a recent storm. Back nine pace is play was slow but allowed us to appreciate nature.

Not a fan of goose poop in the rough on a good amount of holes and the shooting range right across the street. Heard a lot of shots going off during the round.

Course is pretty good outside of those two things.

Kensington is pretty much always a good course. My wife and i enjoy wide fairways and receptive greens. Bunkers could use a little work. With all the rain lately they were a bit washed out but overall playable. I always play the white tees. Not much difference between the whites and blues on most holes anyhow. Green we’re rolling very well even for how soft they were.

A well maintained county course. Sufficient challenges even playing from white tee, which plays around 6200yds par 71.

Greens can be rolled a little better.

We played the back nine for the 1st time this year and it was in great shape! The greens were cut fast and the scores were the lowest for the season so far. After the round we enjoyed a cold one !

Always GREAT to return to Kensington Metro Park golf course for a round. Extremely well managed and cared for course! Also GREAT to take in the many amenities Kensington Metro Park has to offer.

Had 10:08 tee time and started right on time.

Course was in good shape and greens were great and very fast. Greens Superintendent definitely knows what he is doing. Can’t wait to go back.

I really love playing this course. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the course is always in excellent condition.

Course was in great condition. The greens were perfect and rolled true.

Played in 4 and a half hours. Not bad for a weekend day with a lot of golfers. Only complaint is that the sand traps weren't raked.

Besides the slow play of golfers in front of us, course was fun to play and greens were in good condition.

Don't expect a safe or enjoyable round here. The issue isn't slow players; it's the Metro Park board’s profit-driven policies that ignore standard PGA tee-time spacing and basic golf etiquette. By cramming groups together and forcing staff to aggressively rush everyone through, management has created dangerous bottlenecks on nearly every tee box.

The staff is forced to enforce unsafe decisions and act rudely to players when the entire mess is the fault of corporate-style board management. Due to this artificial pressure to hit early, I was actually hit by a golf ball!

If the board wants more revenue, they should staff the kitchen, run the refreshment cart, and monetize actual amenities instead of squeezing unsafe tee intervals at the expense of player safety. Until the board starts listening to real golfers instead of bottom lines, stay away.
