About
Aston Oaks Golf Club is perched atop rolling hills that overlook the Ohio River Valley. The Jack Nicklaus Design Group created the course, which sits on the former land of President William Henry Harrison. Although his presidency was short lived, traces of his legacy in Ohio can be seen throughout the golf course. Each hole was carefully carved from stands of mature white oak, hickory, and other native hardwoods. The course is tight and demanding with fast greens and plenty of elevation changes. The abundance of trees really characterizes the course. Between the 10th tee and the 11th green, there is a giant Buckeye tree that is the largest in the state. With all of the trees lining the fairways there was hardly a need to add bunkers, but there are some incorporated along the greensides that help to define some holes.

Many unrepaired pitch marks on greens.
Each golfer is resposible to properly repair
pitch marks on greens and replace divots or sand all divots. This is a common courtesy of all golfers who love the game. This keeps the course well maintained for the next time the course is played plus it keeps the maintenance
costs down.

Play was slow due to threesome in front hitting multiple
Shots.
Backed up us and two other groups behind.

One of the best courses in Cincinnati
Absolutely love this course. Solid conditions and the pace of play is great in the mornings. Staff is friendly and totally meet expectations.

Beautiful views and layout
Played this course for the first time and was impressed, course was in very good condition however the rough and grass around the greens were cut high making this round pretty tough. You have to hit the fairways and greens in regulation or you have your hands full getting par. I am a single digit handicapper but did not score on this day. Now that I have a grasp of how to play this course I will definitely want to play again because it shows no mercy, bring your A game..
Disappointing
The fairways were shaggy and the greens had many unrepaired ball marks. Due to recent rain, it was cart path only. which made the course really long and the overall play very slow. The views are amazing but the golf was exhausting and not very enjoyable primarily due to the course design and condition.
