About
Aston Oaks Golf Club is perched atop rolling hills that overlook the Ohio River Valley. The Jack Nicklaus Design Group created the course, which sits on the former land of President William Henry Harrison. Although his presidency was short lived, traces of his legacy in Ohio can be seen throughout the golf course. Each hole was carefully carved from stands of mature white oak, hickory, and other native hardwoods. The course is tight and demanding with fast greens and plenty of elevation changes. The abundance of trees really characterizes the course. Between the 10th tee and the 11th green, there is a giant Buckeye tree that is the largest in the state. With all of the trees lining the fairways there was hardly a need to add bunkers, but there are some incorporated along the greensides that help to define some holes.

Disappointed
I am not sure what has happened to this course. The tee boxes were full of divots with no apparent attempt at repairing them.. The greens were full of ball marks. Some fairways were in good shape but overall a huge disappointment. I do realize it is April but there is no excuse for letting a beautiful course go so far downhill.

Beautiful course
I absolutely love this course. It’s extremely challenging but worth a visit. It’s one of my be most beautiful courses in Cincinnati. Especially when all the flowers are in bloom. It’s expensive. So I only go a few times a year. Nice range and practice greens.

A Gem
I can’t believe I haven’t played here more often. One of the best courses in Cincinnati for sure. Views are awesome and course was in great condition considering it’s October and with aeration this time of year. Facilities are top notch and great staff. I was hoping that their practice range had improved since my last round there but it’s just as bad as ever.

Greens an Pace of play.
It’s a subdivision course so don’t expect much.
Greens are tore up an hole locations are not changed regularly as you can tell from the stomped area around the cup on each hole.
Pace of play is horrible. Stopped after 9 holes took 2 1/2 hours to play.
Great time playing with beautiful scenery.
I had a great time today playing golf. Great scenery for pictures. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of this course and WOW what a nice guy. It is rare to see someone of his status working and finding time to Thank You for coming out to play. I will definitely be back to play this course again.
