Vidanta Golf Los Cabos

We were told that we could not play wearing a T-Shirt or at least that it would have to have a collar and that if we were to leave and come back, we would have to schedule another Tee Time and that we will also be charged for "cancelling" the current one. So, we bought a $35 USD polo-shirt.

But after we had finished our first round of 9 holes, we noticed that there were at least 2 other players wearing Tee Shirts. Needles to say that we were not happy.

Had a great time golfing here. The staff was friendly. The course was in excellent shape. Worth it to pay for the unlimited food and drink. Fish tacos were delicious!

First time playing the course, overall a decent layout wind can make it challenging. 9 holes only so have to play it twice. Very cheap greens fees which included lunch (tacos). Pro Shop was slow to get people out but course was not busy. Rental clubs are old but functional, cost more than the round.

Nice course in a convenient location in San Jose del Cabo. Well maintained, especially the greens, but can be a little dry and has a smelly wastewater pond. Friendly staff. Standard rates are high but good deals with GN except the extra mandatory food and beverage fee that is not good value if you are not guzzling beer. Should be a discount for early morning golf.

., Once again the sewer they try to call a pond is under construction. And there are clouds of a dark putrid smell wafting over holes 2,3 and 9. This seems to be the case all year, And since I live on the course, I am subjected to it year-round. It’s absolutely foul, and disgusting. Sharp contrast to the beauty that would otherwise be here.

My family was in Cabo for the week on vacation. My bro in law and I love golf and are low handicappers. We played a couple courses in Cabo and with outdated beat up rental clubs we paid $300 a round as April is high season. These golf courses we’re just above average to us certainly not worth that amount. I found Vidanta Golf on GolfNow on a hot deal for $49. The starter told me normal price is $160. The course is only 9 holes, a little above average difficulty, we played the black tees. But the condition of course, bunkers, fairways, and greens all excellent condition. The greens were a little slow. But this is vacation golf and Vidanta offers a deal for $22 all the breakfast burritos, tacos, gatorade, beer, tequila, margaritas, etc. you to desire! Helen who works at bar made us the best margaritas and would come find us on the course to make sure we had cold Modelo’s and fresh margaritas. We had so much fun, the value was so good, we played again the next day. There was no hot deals but GolfNow offers morning tee times normally for $69. Best golf deal in Cabo and we will be back our next vacation.

Course is very rough! Don’t skimp on golf like i did. Staff is very friendly, up charge for premium cocktails should have been disclosed.
