Vidanta Golf Los Cabos

Had a good time golfing here. Price was reasonable for what you received food drinks are a one time separate price but worth it. Course was challenging but achievable. Staff exceptional!

Played 2 rounds with my wife our first week in Cabo, good value through Golf Now. The $22 extra charge is well worth the price of the drinks and tacos available throughout our round. Course is an interesting 9 hole with 4 tee blocks to mix it up on back 9. Greens are in good shape and fast. Lots of bunkers and good views of the mountains. Pace of play is at a relaxed pace. Enjoyed our rounds

The course is a bit of a jewel. There are lots of really nice, and very expensive courses in Cabo San Jose. But with a Hot Deal, I got a tee time in the middle of the day for about $50. The course was very dry in some areas. But otherwise, it was in good shape. The layout was scenic. The staff was friendly. The only negative was, upon arriving, I was informed of the mandatory $22 "Beverage Fee". It ended up being a pretty good deal because it included unlimited drinks and tacos. I got my money's worth. But I just didn't like have it forced upon me.

The course is advertised as an 18 hole but its really only nine you have to go back around.

We paid extra for food and drinks which is fine but when we came in at halfway and tried to order cheese burgers which they were making right there in front of us they told us they were only for staff and the only thing we could order was taco. dried tortillas and chicken or beef.

They had an entire platter of burgers but paying customers couldn't have one. This may seem small but it just upset me off. Its the paying customer who pays the staff. I am a very generous tipper and always take care of the people, so that complete snub just ruined the day. I will never go back.

You can get very good value from the food and beverage surcharge. Arrive early as check in usually takes a while. No driving range, but they have a net,and a good practice green. Surprisingly good pace, considering the beverage cart stops and serves nearly ever group,as its included in your surcharge.

The Greens were quick and running true. You have to purchase $22.00 US in food in addition to the Golf, but it was unlimited food (Tacos) and drinks (Beer and Margaritas). Both food and drinks were very good.

The food surcharge, this is very poor the selection is far too limited the stock of available food supplies is low. I tried to get a cuppa coffee with my lunch and they said coffee wasn’t available. In a health conscious world you offer fried fish tacos this is a bit unbelievable with a bunch of seniors playing who avoid fried foods. The whole food experience is awful. Your staff is great they do the best they can with what they have.

The course was in great shape. Greens were firm, fast and rolled true. This is a 9 hole facility, so switching up the tee boxes gives a different look to each hole when playing 18. I played the white tee's during my first 9 which play around 2900 yards and then played the blacks(tips) during my second 9 which around 3400 yards. The normal rate ranges between $49-$89 depending on what time of the day you tee off. I was lucky enough to find two really good Hot Deals on Golfnow, so make sure you download the app. This course is located in San Jose, so most of the holes run through or around homes and condo buildings within the Fortuna community so it can be tight off the tee box on a few holes, but most have wide player friendly fairways for you to hit but make sure you miss the strategically placed fairway and green side bunkers on just about every hole. Bunker sand is very good, but can be deep in a few green side bunkers so make sure you dig your feet in to gauge how you need to play the shot. Both of the Par 3 greens are two tiered with undulation, so they play very tough and can range between 165 and 200 yards depending on whether you play the whites or black (tips) tee's and where the hole is placed that day. Greens were firm, so make sure you take your approach shots in high and soft if you want to keep the ball close or play short if you have a lower ball flight that normally runs out. The Vidanta course now has a all-inclusive fee of $22 usd per person, this fee includes all drinks and snacks while on the course and then Taco's at the turn or after the round. All the staff was great and very friendly. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to play golf while on vacation and not break the bank while doing it!

Nice course with great green conditions. We knew there was a mandatory $22 US beverage and food charge and enjoyed a couple of beverages on the course. Dismayed to find out that the kitchen had closed at 4 pm so we missed any food. When we complained, the pro shop said we were notified on our GolfNow registration- but not so! Needs to be much clearer.

We've played this course many times through the years and it is always a great day out! It's a challenging and fun course to play. It's kept in nice shape. The staff are so friendly and courteous and they just add to the joy of the day. Be sure to enjoy a great margarita and taco - it's included and a wonderful treat!
