Fun track
This was our second time playing this course and first of the year. We went early to have the lunch that was required and it was sandwiches and fruit. We were able to get out early and moved along well. They had just top dressed the greens but both of us were surprised that the greens were not slower to putt on. Wish we had seen the beverage girl more than once but other than that it was a pleasant day and we will be back to play on an affordable course.
Nice little 9 hole track.
It’s not a bad track. It’s like the local municipal course we all play back home. Nice people, clean and personable.( no driving range). But more importantly take them up and the all inclusive lunch and Beaverage for 20 bucks extra. ( great deal, if you enjoy cold adult beverages while you golf)
Good value for the money
We have played this course a few times and it is still a good value.
Cabi alternative
Only a 9-hole course that you play twice well-kept bermudagrass greens and nice shape the pace of play after 11 no one's on the course and the price was fantastic but don't come with a wildgame tight fairways with condos along each side forces you to definitely be a accurate shot
Cabo Golfing
Found a good deal on GolfNow. The cost to drive yjwteuwas ridiculous so we would never go again from our resort. Felt the taxi was a rip-off. Course was in good shape. A variety of par 4 dog legs plus good par 3’s. Greens were heavily sanded so the ball doesn’t bit. But for the cost it was good.
You get what you pay for
Course is in pretty poor shape. Unfortunately, I played right after greens were aerated so very poor putting experience. Of course, it would have been helpful if Goldmow had let me know this important fact-never would have booked it.
Avoid this dog track unless you're on a budget
Played this course in between my rounds at the "real" Cabo courses. It's more or less the "muni" of Cabo...nothing special about this course. Normal rate is about $80 but you can play for $40 via GolfNow. Cart paths, and most areas in between the holes are pretty much dirt/sand. Water on two holes. Some elevation changes on a few holes. Condos line both sides of all fairways. Like the previous reviewer said, greens are like putting on broccoli. Staff are all very helpful and nice. Not only was I not able to be paired with another player, I was the only person on the course during my entire 18 holes. Play this course if you're looking for a cheap round, otherwise I can't recommend it.
First time in Los Cabos
The girls at check in were just "okay" - not all that friendly and not very accommodating. The gentlemen at the starter area were very nice. The course only took credit cards or Pesos, no USD. That was surprising being that it's a "resort" town. That leads me to my next point . . . FIRST TIME CABO VISITORS BEWARE. The taxis are a RIP OFF. Do a little research to try to learn about getting a taxi that doesn't have "resort" connections. They charge $20 for a 10 minute ride, and of course more for longer. Taxis in NYC are less expensive than that. And that leads me to the "resort" issue. One of the men that I was speaking to at Vidanta replied that the costs are this way due to the fact that it's a resort area, which is just conflicting to how they handle their paying customers - in Pesos only. If it is a "resort" area, they should take care of their customers in the same fashion.
BTW, the greens were horrible. As Henrick Stenson would say, "It's like putting on broccoli."
Great 9 hole track for the cost.
9 hole course, decent layout but very tight with condos lining both sides of the fairways. Greens were little slow but in good shape. Lots of out of bounds but fairways were in excellent shape. Staff was friendly. Helped load and unload clubs and whiped off clubs. I did not eat or drink anything from the club house as it was an early morning round. I was given several small bottles of water to start and at the turn. Played 18 in almost 3 hours.
Challenging local course
I always enjoy playing this 9 hole course (twice). It is challenging and yet relaxing. The staff are friendly and efficient. I would recommend this course to anyone who doesn’t want to pay the high prices of all the other courses in the area. Vidanta offers good bang for your buck.
Not bad
we enjoyed our game..alot of money for 9 hole..especially if you have to rent clubs. fast greens and very challenging..would go back to play.
Lowest price in Cabo
Course is fairly nice and decent condition but just has 9 holes, you play twice. Greens were slow compared to others in the area and hard to get used to the speed. Traps were well kept but had thick sand and not much depth. Fairways are okay but no where near like others in the area but that’s what you get for half or a third the price. We never saw anyone else on the course until we were on 17, we had begun at 1212. Overall, it’s still golf and best price in the area by far, so we’ve played it more than once over the years visiting Cabo.
Good value
A good course for winter golf. Good value if you book thru golf now and get a hot deal. At list price of $89 and up it doesn’t compare to other courses in southern USA, but it is signivantly better value over most all other México course which all cater to the wealthy at $200+. Greens were good , average speed. Only complaint is the bunkers. Often no sand or only surface raked so bounce into the ball was frequent. Some bunkers had lots of sand so you never know what shot to play. And there are lots of bunkers so there are lots of bunket shots. Overall a good course for golfers on a budget. Staff was great. Beer was cheap. Will go again.
Great Time!
I haven’t play this well in years! I rented clubs(Calloway XR’s)...$40. So, of course, I didn’t play with familiar sticks. Came with an Odyssey putter. Did not have a glove or shoes. I brought my own balls (6), and lost 3, due to narrow fairways. Course is lined with condos, so I hope I didn’t hit anyone (never heard anyone scream!). But, that’s where the balls went and all off the tee. I think I’ll also blame it on the strong wind!
Greens were fast and in fabulous condition! Most of the time you couldn’t find any spot to use to help you line up between the ball and the hole.
Finally broke 90 for the 1st time in 2 years, with an 86. The other player, my second ball, shot 96.
I will return.
Best value for your money
With so many expensive courses in the Los Cabos areas. It is nice to be able to play a course that is affordable . Granted it is only a nine hole course , you can play it twice . Get the golf now "Hot deal" and it will run you 45 dollars American .
