I enjoy playing this course when I have the opportunity. Great Value and nice layout. Play this course when you can. You won't be disappointed.Take the drive down to Floresville. After your round, stay for the Lew's Burger and a Drink.

Just Avg Joe Golfer here.. Yes nice Place. I played on Nice Jan. day Winter Golf so the ground was hard and grass yellow Greens were green and fast. Open space so i only hit one tree when ball bounced off cart path.
A Happy Gilmore shot as it rolled up on green! I will play again here. The Driving range I did not use but you hit over water which was cool and I will go try. Saw a tennis Ct To I think

I had a tee time for a single and when I came up to the counter to tell the staff member my GolfNow tee time he was kind of lost and confused. The club sent me an email confirming my time but the man kept saying I was another man. He was saying I was in the "such and such" group. I said OK. He looked at my printout and couldn't believe the great deal I got. He said that they won't be doing that anymore. They don't make any money on this deal. So what! I ended up playing alone and he said that I don't have to get paired up. I may or may not play w/other golfers.?? After being confused, I teed off alone. It was a good course. Long from the back tees, good soft greens. Wide open with trouble on a few holes, and length causing the main problem. I guess it was just too wet on the very tight fairways, as it played long. I was hitting from 200 yds out several times on Par 4s.

Nice course,wide open and well maintained. Staff very friendly, will return great deal for the $.

LIKED the course, fun yet can be challenging. Greens - above ok to good. Fairways need water, lots. Staff cordial, hot dogs blah....
but they have a nice resturant that was always busy both weeks I went out there... I didn't have time to try it. Played on a Golf Now deal rate---- not sure I'd pay 45 to 60 to play it. Had a good time and will play it again.

A course that is challenging for the above average golfer and also will accommodate a below average golfer. Has the country club atmosphere with staff and surroundings.

I really enjoyed playing this course. It was a lot more challenging thwn I expected. This is a course that will challenge your skills and knowledge of the game.The guy working at the front desk is also a really helpful and friendly person too. I can't wait to play at this course again. I would recommend thos course to anyone looking for a fun and challenging course.

Was a good experience playing this course. Nice wide open fairways and well kept greens.

Very interesting and strategic layout. Not alot of trees in play but many forced carries and good elevation changes. Long par threes and a couple of short par fours. Fairways and traps in good shape. Some greens could use attention. Very nice staff and stiff drinks...... Will be back.

I have a hard time paying over $30 dollars on a weekday after 3:00 in the afternoon. The course is extremely dry right now due to the lack of rain. If I would not have gone through GolfNow, to get a cut on the rate, I would not have felt very good about paying over $30 to play!

Course needs help. Nothing to hit off in fairways. Greens very bumpy. HELP!

Overall for winter conditions the course was in good condition. Greens were moderate paced and rolled smooth with the exception of #18 (it has major damage on the left third and unfortunately they chose to put the cup right in the middle of this damage area). Definitely a laid back atmosphere; jeans and five-somes seam to be the norm at this course. They have a practice range and two small putting greens. For a first timer the course can be a little challenging. For instance there is large hazard positioned in the middle of the third fairway that can not be seen from the tee box. There are a few other holes where a little course knowledge would be helpful.

Fairways were a little rough but for this time a year we in fair cindition. Greens were fast and pretty true in most cases. Fun course to play with some strategic placement drives and fairway shots required.

I like the driving range over water and an island in the middle. The course was in great shape for January.

The employees are very friendly and nice, the golf house is super neat, the golf range is fun and the golf course is great.

This course is a great layout and a great value. I enjoyed the pace of play and greens. Only complaint would be the fairways dont have much grass so they come off a little tight.

The course offers wide fairways that entice you to go for it but be carefull, the bunkers and links type rough can get you in trouble.

The course was nice but staff seemed a little rude or preoccupied. It would have been nice to have a layout of the holes on the scorecard or posted around the course. It is hard to manage the course if you cannot determine the safe spots to hit to, but great course and challenging.

Have played course multiple times. Very demanding on several holes. Great for a long driver. Enough sand traps and water hazards to keep the average golfer alert. Overall, a good course for the money.

Very good golf course design, some easy-ish holes and some demanding holes. I like a golf course where the holes stand apart from each other, each hole different in design from the others. This course has 18 unique holes and is fun to play. I'll repeat that, this is a fun course to play. Isn't that the point? I played there for the first time 2 years ago and the conditions were pretty burnt out but we were in the middle of a drought. This year, vastly improved and the greens are very good. This course is kind of a "sleeper" in the San Antonio area, it shouldn't be. Go play it, you'll thank me.
