I love this course.
I've played this course about 30+ times last year and about 12 times this year.
Good Value and in Good Shape
I play this course frequently using a $29 Hot Deal they offer daily.
It is an "old-school" small town parkland course on flat ground. Most holes are lined by large trees. Some of these trees make dog-leg holes quite tricky if you cannot hit over them.
The greens are in excellent shape, with the exception of a few holes on the back 9 which strangely have a different type of grass.
Overall this course is a relaxed, friendly place that is in good shape considering the low green fees. The new carts they added in June are a bonus.
Old school challenge, but in poor shape
Old school tree-lined country club course. Not long but challenging off the tee. Would recommend playing with overhead GPS if possible. Greens were in awful shape. Many of them are small, which adds to the challenge, but when a third of the green is completely dead, it gets ridiculous. Very relaxed country vibes. Good people. No driving range, just an open area to hit your own balls. If you want them back...you go pick them up yourself. Played it as a hot deal, which is the only way I'd recommend playing it until conditions improve. Nice new carts are a plus.
Course looks great and getting better.
The new Golf carts were a wonderful surprise. The course is in great shape and getting better every year it seems. The huge oak trees surrounding each fairway makes it. However, Many of us would like to see a beverage and snack cart on the front and back. I also would appreciate a more functioning practice range with targets, ball machine and someone retrieving the balls. Other than that no complaints, always enjoy a round.
Pretty good course lots of trees.
Good course. Can be challenging due to the trees so learn how to hit knock downs and course will be much easier. Good course to learn how to shape shots around trees. Greens are adequate I've seen better but they do fine in other words not infested with mowed down weeds like some courses. Off fairway in the rough there's alot of sandy soil so sweep your shots cause you won't compress the golf ball.
