Narrow hole that you can't even tell is a golf course if it wasn't for the tee boxes. Photo submitted by Sean8819622 on 07/24/2016

I guess the hole design was bad enough that you can't use clubs you have. So bad. Photo submitted by Sean8819622 on 07/24/2016

Great Deal
Course is in pretty good condition, fairways still growing in for looks like airation but the greens in some areas were a little diseased. Tee box's on some to the holes were bare and in need of some attention, looks as if they are trying to control them. Over all still a great place to play, can't beat the price & playing in December!
Great course setup & condition, very poor pace of play
Condition of the course was fairly great for autumn. Sand traps were in good condition, greens rolled well, fairways maintained. Course is a good value, but it shouldn't take nearly 5 and 1/2 hours to play a course that is only about 6,000 yards. No urgency or focus on pace of play by staff. I have never seen a ranger out on the course on all of the times that I have played. Weekend rounds typically take over 5 hours. Most of the golfers there seem to want to line up every putt, even those tricky 4 inchers! If you like waiting on every hole, this is definitely your course!!!
VERY TIGHT, SHOT MAKERS COURSE
NEEDS ATTENTION ON AND AROUND THE GREENS. ALSO THE BUNKERS REQUIRE BETTER DRAINAGE ON MORE RAKES
Average course. Nothing to speak of.
The front 9 was nice but the back 9 have problems. One of the holes in the back 9 is a par 4 turned into a par 3. Weird hole!
Fairways were narrow. Any slice or hook and you'll easily lose balls. Rates were reasonable but overall, there are better deals for the money.
no staffs available to speed up the slow players
I was playing with nice pace for the first 9 holes; then, suddenly, we got standing halt at the 10th holes, and no staffs available at the course to keep the pace moving. I ended quit the my round after 10 holes of playing.
Course condition was OK. I was told the 13th hole was converted from par 4 to par 3, but no one at the pro shop warned me in advance, even though I did not get to 13th.
I will never play there again, even though it's convenience for me to play there!
Croos Creek - Double Cross
Overall the course is deteriorating significantly. Tee boxes are dirt patches. Greens in poor condition. Not worth playing at any price, even GolfNow best hot deal.
Very cool course
This course was in pretty good shape for nearing the end of the season in MD. One of the "coolest" holes, a par 4, was haphazardly turned into a par 3 to accomodate a new expressway nearby. Other than that, a great mix of holes some challenging, some fairly easy. A thinking golfer's course with some good birdie opportunities.
time of the year contributed to the poor condition
If you schedule your tee time opposite the opening game of the Redskins, the course is yours. Changes to one of the holes on the back nine need some work.
Very Nice Course
The course is in excellent shape and very challenging. Tight fairways are tucked in wooded landscapes. It is both pleasing to the eye and fun to play. The only negative is the dismissive staff.
