Narrow hole that you can't even tell is a golf course if it wasn't for the tee boxes. Photo submitted by Sean8819622 on 07/24/2016

I guess the hole design was bad enough that you can't use clubs you have. So bad. Photo submitted by Sean8819622 on 07/24/2016

Very tight course - prepare to lose some golf balls!
Very tight course. A few holes (par 3's) require the right distance off the tees, but most holes only require a straight tee shot of any length 200+ yards. If you dont have complete control of your fade or draw with a driver, leave it in the car and tee off with 3-wood or hybrids, as distance is not as important here as accuracy. Course layout is scenic, with lots of wooded areas... littered with lost golf balls.
Tight course in certain areas. must be on your game at all times.
Your short game comes into play all over the course. It is also forgiving in places. Excellent course lay out. Nice amenities
They are working on the course.
If I hadn't booked at a discount, I would have been a bit upset. One of the holes was closed - or almost closed. Most of the greens were covered with sand (I assume they were working on them) which probably helped my game, but wasn't great for the golfers among my group. There were also a lot of hazards on the course....which made it hard for a more inexperienced golfer like myself --- but might be good for golfers there to work on accuracy. I lost a lot of balls on the course....but found a lot as well. One nice thing is that they have new golf carts....
This is a course for pretty good golfers.....I would play it again...but only at a discount. =)
My home course!
I play in a 9 hole league each week at Cross Creek - so I know the front 9 WELL! Always a challenge with narrow fairways on most holes, some water to dodge, lots and lots of trees. Every hole has hazards.
The course is in good condition, although the sandtraps never seen to have sand in them. The owners are now self-managing, and have already purchased all new golf carts and have promised some course upgrades as well, including sand, which we are looking forward to.
Always an enjoyable round, some challenges, and lots of wildlife :)
Tough course...I think their handicap ratings are off. Blue is easier than white?
Greens are in sad shape even considering the time of year. It looks as if very liitle work was done over the winter.
Also, it didn't make any sense for the starter to have everyone go off the back to start the day and then start groups off the front nine, causing delays. The pace of play evened out, but that didn't make sense.
Very challenging course...gotta use all your clubs.
Horrible Condition
The carts are beatup, the tee boxes are beatup, and the greens are beatup. When they correct these 3 things, I'll consider returning. #14 has been in/out of commission ever since the construction of the Inter-County Connector and now it's a 25 yard par 3. I'll give this course another two years before I consider returning for sure...
This course has a variety of challenges
Always enjoy playing here. Opportunities abound for thoughtful play. Can't always crush it; must play smart. Placement is everything. Plenty of opportunities for 'going for it'. Course shaping up nicely.
This course is very challenging.
Don't let the yardage on the card fool you...This course requires precise shots to score well. We played from the Creekside tees (the blue tees) but I kept wondering if we had played from the next tees up. Over the years they have cleared alot of the underbrush along the fairways, and around the greens making the course easier to find the occassional lost ball. The day we played the wind was a swirling, gusty 5-15mph, making club selection difficult. The driving range is irons only, so warm up with your woods before you arrive.
Tight course with challenging holes
Played in late March. Fairways were fine. Greens were coming back but not in summer shape. 14th hole is being reconstructed.
they need to finish construction
i was disappointed with 14th hole a chipping mat from about 30 yards out is not good.......i played here over a year ago and yet they still have not fixed 14th hole
Not what I remember
I played this course just after it opened to rave reviews about 10 years ago. It has obviously seen a lot of rounds - not many players opt to replace islands or repair divots. I cannot remember a single hole (save a couple on the back) on which the veiw is not dominated by vinyl siding - there are houses lining most holes, which is too bad for a course that actually has quite a bit of character. Maybe the greens condition was due to it being early in the season. Would be a shame if what I remembered as a real gem has just simply fallen into disrepair due to lack of attention. I played for $15, so hard to complain at that price.
The worst shape I've ever seen.
# 14 course was closed for reconstruction. The 10 out of 18 greens were in terrible shape. They shouldn't be open to play when the course isn't ready to play.
Wetness not a problem
This course holds water well, but the greens need time.2/24
Course had really nice features!
I really enjoyed playing this course, it was great value and a nice layout. The course provided adequate challenge for my skill level. Would recommend it to others and definitely will be back to play again.
A Compact OK Course
Third time to have played there. It's a short par 69 course. Some good interesting holes. A few holes were under renovation. It's situated in the woods so the impression of the entire course was dim, but the monetary value was great for less than $20.
Great value. In January 2013, restricted carts to Fairway only after 90 degree entrance and then exit at No Carts sign near green. Nice!
Played on a foggy cold day in January and yet play was fast due to above mentioned restriction (meant to preserve rough areas, but also sped up play). Tee boxes and greens showing severe winter wear, but fairways fair to o.k. despite the season and cart use. Challenging due to some tight holes and trees and creeks and ponds on many holes boundaries. Bring a lot of balls, but then you may find more than you lose due to the tightness! Pays to keep the ball in the fairway, even at the expense of distance of the stroke! Got a wonderful GolfNow "Hot" value of $21 including cart for the 18 holes!
Nice for the Winter Time
I made the reservations through Golf Now by telephone because their system was down. The course wasn't to bad the Green's needed work. Will not penalize due to winter conditions.
A challenging course that will make you think about club selection on certain holes.
I have played this course many times and it always provides a challenge to hit the ball straight and in the air as many fairways are narrow and have environmental areas in strategic places. Of course there are many bunkers and some water to also add to the mix to make this course a real challenge to play. A great value for the money and a real confidence builder.
This course is always challengeable to me. I really love it.
Personally I enjoy tough courses to play. This is one of my favorites. Holes 4th and 11th are the most challengeable to me. Whenever I play here I am so focused. I enjoy the moment I am with this course.
Short but narrow
Fun little course, you WILL lose at least 2x your average # of balls!
