About
Situated in the heart of Chestermere, Lakeside Golf Club is conveniently only 20 minutes east of downtown Calgary. The 18-hole layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy. The golf course is gentle enough for high handicappers but it will still give more advanced golfers a chance to use their skills. Water has a prominent presence throughout the golf course, it comes into play on nearly every hole on the front nine. The back nine may have less water, but you'll have to contend with more strategically placed bunkers, like on the par-3 13th. This tough hole features not only a large lake on the right but also an array of bunkers circling the green. In addition to the course, With all of the hazards you'll be facing, it may not be a bad idea to use Lakeside's driving range and putting green to warm up.

Very good course. Highly recommend
Not too difficult, not too easy. A nice mix of holes and layouts. Staff have been really courteous and friendly every time I've golfed here. Great course especially for the price. Course was in decent shape considering it opened 4 days prior. Highly recommend
Disappointed with golf now
Day of our tee time my father was taken into hospital. Seeing that it was unexpected I was not able to give 24 hours notice. Sadly was informed that I was not eligible for a credit.
Course conditions
Greens were excellent re health & speed. Fairways were shaggy. Definitely need to be shorter.
Nice intro to Calgary golf
Nice course, good true greens, nice clubhouse, beers!
Fun to play
Enjoyed the fast greens but was disappointed in how long the ruff was. The fairway grass is too long. The condition of the railway ties around the water is treacherous.
Course in Great Condition
With the rain in June and early July the course is in great condition. Best fairways and greens since i started golfing here a few years ago.
Beautiful
This was the first time I ever played here. The course is in excellent condition. I personally found the greens fast so that was a challenge but overall it is a great course! Good bang for the buck especially when you can get a deal on golf now!
lakeside challenges you
A well maintained difficult track with alot of water, only drawback was the sand was hard, need to top those up.
Good Ratly season round
Course was in very good condition for this early in the Calgary golf year … no complaints
