About
Situated in the heart of Chestermere, Lakeside Golf Club is conveniently only 20 minutes east of downtown Calgary. The 18-hole layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy. The golf course is gentle enough for high handicappers but it will still give more advanced golfers a chance to use their skills. Water has a prominent presence throughout the golf course, it comes into play on nearly every hole on the front nine. The back nine may have less water, but you'll have to contend with more strategically placed bunkers, like on the par-3 13th. This tough hole features not only a large lake on the right but also an array of bunkers circling the green. In addition to the course, With all of the hazards you'll be facing, it may not be a bad idea to use Lakeside's driving range and putting green to warm up.

Great Course if you know where you are going.
Course layout was great with some challenging water features to test your confidence. Greens were a real in good shape and played consistently. The only feedback I would give is that the course map is very small and not easily read. The signage does not lend itself to finding your way around easily and after the game we found directional signage obscured by overgrowth or temporary fencing so we ended up lost a couple of times finding the first tee, and no signage to make it clear where to turn for some other holes as the cart path does not always take you intuitively to the next hole. Most courses have signage so well placed, you never have to look at a map. The staff were phenomenal and very helpful so overall it was an excellent fall evening for twilight golf.
Lakeside Greens Golf Course
Course conditions above average. Friendly helpful staff. Much better since last visit 3 years ago. It needs some areas of repair to bring it up to 5 star.

Great to a"rejeuvenation of course compared to 3 years ago. Just a few more areas on fairways to complete. Otherwise very good fairways & big challenggreens. 90% better all the way around. Friendly helpful staff and very friendly starter explained areas of repair and a few quirks. Teed off on time, maintained a good pace.
Great course for a reasonable price
Course was in great condition, staff was friendly and helpful. The only gripe I would have is there was no beverage cart making the rounds
Wonderful course
Great course that challenges every golfer. Well maintained and set up forces you to think while enjoying all that is around. Greens are fast and testing but fair. We're surely coming back to give it another crack.
Shape
The course was in good shape. Greens were a little slow but they were mid summer condition
Gorgeous day
Lakeside is a lovely course.
A lot of construction around it plus they will have a major mosquito problem around the front 9. Millions of baby mosquitoes
Golf
Greens were slow but was expected at this time of year. Railway ties around the water holes are in disrepair and look tacky.
