Collicutt Siding Golf Course
About
Collicutt Siding Golf Club is situated just 20 minutes north of Calgary in Crossfield. The player-friendly course will appeal to players of all ages and abilities. The golf course offers two distinct nine-hole layouts with a straightforward front nine that is followed by a more challenging, links-style back nine. The golf course was created in large part by great community effort. Construction began on the front nine in 1994 with equipment, materials, and labor that was almost entirely donated. The back nine was added in 2003. The golf course operates as a nonprofit organization, benefitting the entire community. Though it may not be what you're looking for if you want a truly formidable test, the course is a prime example of prairie golf with natural grasses and pristine water features. In addition to the course, Collicutt also boasts the largest junior golf academy in Canada.

Wide open course
I found the course to be good condition, but was extremely wide open and not very inspiring, similar to many of the paddock courses around the Calgary area. Fairways and greens were in good condition.
Clubhouse food was great for lunch with a great selection of food and drinks.
The course would be good if you wanted a confidence boost about your game.
Good VALUE
fun course has something for everyone, even for the little golfers.
nice relaxed round
was a little cool but the greens were in great shape for this early, paired up with a great guy we played as a twosome in 3.20 it was like our own Private golf course.
Great staff
I really enjoy this course. Just had a great late season experience. They have excellent customer service. The front nine and back nine are very different from each other and give golfers two different golfing experience. It is great for new golfers from the front tees as well as challenges experienced golfers from the back tees. Great prairie golf course.
Good conditions, good value
I liked the course conditions - lush tee boxes and greens. a plespasant surprise was the lack of fallen leaves on the fairway, which is common at this time of year. I didn't lose one ball! There aren't a lot of trees especially on the back nine, but the water, doglegs and rolling terrain added to the difficulty. The greens were very slow when I played, but it had just finished a long period of rain. As a result of the rain which stopped just as I teed off, there was no one in front of me and I finished 18 in just under 3 hrs.
This course is harder than it looks
The front 9 is straightforward and relatively fair but the back 9 is very challenging. It's important to play the right tees, otherwise you will lose a lot of balls and won't enjoy the course.
Always enjoyable
We have been playing Collicut for the past 18 years. We always enjoy the experience. This year we find the course in the best shape ever. Great staff. We recommend it to everyone.

Great Value Course
If you can get a great deal on this course through Golfnow.com this course is worth it each and every time if you are from the surrounding area (Calgary/Airdrie).
Moderate challenge, better for beginners, but has its challenges.
Generally not overly busy course and pace of play can be excellent. It was slow for us this previous time, but we have finished this course in 3.5 hours.
A course that we generally golf numerous times in a year when the price is right.
Well maintained Course
This course was very well maintained and had excellent facilities on the course and in the club house.
Great time
Had a great time playing this course. Have played it a few times over the last couple years and it just seems to get nicer and nicer. Also really liked that they had a 6:40 am tee time
Confidence builder
Have not played here for about 5 years, but am glad I did. Course is maturing, but still not discouraging to the average player. Definitely not easy, but not frustratingly difficult either. Played with my 12 year old son, and he was fairly capable of keeping pace. The addition of the new clubhouse in recent years really gives it the feel of quality golf course. Will not wait another 5 years before I play again. Good job Collicutt Siding!
Friendly Western Hospitality
We were there during an elementary school intro golf day . Well run as staff encouraged the youngsters . They were on driving range and putting green .
We ate breakfast before our round , Great value and very friendly staff .
The course itself is made up of two distinct nines . Fun to play, Greens are slow . I think the course had endured a lot of rain recently but held up well . Give it A Go!
this course is interesting and somewhat challenging
Staff were excellent. Course was very wet as they had had heavy rain the day before. Back 9 quite challenging and at times a little difficult to figure out which green went with which fairway(just a couple of holes. From 9 was very nice but very wet. Overall a very good experience. thank you.
A Fun Track
All around nice course to play close to a big city (Calgary) without the big city prices. Course was in spring condition and well maintained. Just off of the QE2 Highway with a huge parking lot that easily handled our motor home. Want a break from high prices?? This is a great place to play. I'll be back! Lots of water fowl to keep you entertained, driving range, good practice area - no complaints.
Good Price, Fun Course
Not too challenging, a fun place to go have a relaxing round. Tons of room to bailout on most holes. Close enough to the city to be worth the drive. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Great easy course.
Great course for all levels but may be too easy for hardcore golfers (not very challenging). Very few trees. Since some fairways are side by side, it's easy to hit onto the other fairway if your shot is not straight; however, most of the fairways are pretty wide. Very walkable course. Friendly staff.
Wide open space, and can be very windy.
The course is in great shape for this time of year. Greens are well kept, and are quite fast.
