Bang for Buck
We played 9 holes and it moved very quickly. For $45 with a cart it was a pretty good bang for our dollar. Course is not in the best shape. Tee boxes are rough and all the fairways are dry and hard as cement. Greens were pretty good I thought. Not much variation (no sand traps). Pretty typical of a farmers field prairie course. Would play again, but not at the top of my list.
Slow as heck!
Pace of play was bad - 5 hrs & 19 minutes to play 18 holes. Marshall didn’t seem to care enough to get it moving. Some tee boxes in rough shape - greens were okay.
Slow, slow, slow,
We finished 18 holes in 5 hrs and 20 mins!!
Pace of play was absolutely horrendous even though the Marshalls addressed our concern.
Apple Springs course condition
The course is in terrible condition! Probably the worst tee boxes I have ever seen our golf course. Greens look like they have winter kill on them still at the end of June.
Horrible staff and course
I would give zero stars if possible. Marshal was extremely rude, horrible tee boxes, greens are like concrete but slow at the same time and no sand whatsoever. Don’t waste your money here.
Windy Day
Extremely windy day so the hand of God was a factor! That being said the spring conditions were also took a toll on the game. Greens were giving cart path bounces and perfect shots to the fairway equaled some loss balls. Course layout is a little confusing as you really need to watch the signs to get to the right place. I’m thankful the course was open and it was still better than not playing at all. Staff was incredible and super nice. Course just needs some fairway and greens love. Still lots of fun!
Needs Watering
The course was so dry that we couldn't get out Tees into the ground. Hazard markings left a lot to be desired - not knowing where and when they were present. Only the 9th and 18th holes had distances from the tee to the hazard
Golf at Apple Creek
My son andI joined a very nice young couple at the first tee for our 8 am start time.After playing 3holes we found ourselves stuck behind 4 juniors, maybe 2 holes later the juniors where on the forward tee,we where on the white tee and the next group of 4 were sitting just behind us.A marshal stopped by and said he would go and have a word with the juniors.2 holes later we were behind them again, the same thing happened again a little later.We also lost 3golf balls due to people playing the wrong ball when we got to where we hit to our golf ball was missing but a different ball was laying close by. The group behind us were getting very impatient.Final point Just a couple of minutes under 5 hours to play after an early tee time.Thankyou.

Nice course. Good bang for your buck. Lots of creeks to hit over infront of the greens.
