Fort in View Golf Club - Buck/Clark

I've been coming here with a friend atleast once a week every golf season. Affordable rates, friendly staff, well kept course, and most importantly of all, they keep a good pace of play at all times.

One of my favorite courses by far 10/10

The driving range would be better access if vehicles weren’t parked in front of it. The course layout was good. Was very windy the day we played so windshields on the carts would have been beneficial to get relief from wind and dust. Tee boxes were in pretty good shape for the most part. Fairways were good in most spots, some were water logged given watering to beat the heat damage. Greens were in decent shape other than most pins did not fit properly in the cup resulted in a few cups being slanted….due to wind on the flag sticks. Good track with challenging holes and pin placements. Pace of play was good, we did it in 3 1/2hrs. Could turn this course into one of the area’s best….with an infusion of cash which is always easier to say. Was disappointed that it is not associated with Golf Canada which I didn’t know until I tried to enter score into GC’s handicap program.
Overall, nice course to play for the price.

I golfed this course on a discount for 28 dollars a round. I wouldn't pay regular price for course as its in poor shape . .

Good course for under 30 bucks, with a cart. A lot of standing water and mud from overwatering.. Could have just been the one day. I’ll definitely go back and play again!

No mention of heavy rains the previous evening when booking. Course layout was confusing as one of the three nines wasn’t open. No starter or Marshall at the course making pace of play brutal on the second nine. Some fairways were under an inch or two of water in some spots. Cart paths were like rivers and made it very messy as they were dirt and it was impossible to get around in some spots. I was covered in mud by the end of the round.

I have golfed here a few times now. I had a coupon for one free round with a paid one. They say that and if I had of paid for it would have been 144 dollars with cart. The coupon I had didn’t say it came with or without cart, it only said good for during the weekdays only. Which is okay. Anyway had the coupon and it still cost me 93 dollars for two of us to play. I understand I still saved 54 dollars, when in actuality I should have save 69. If this course isn’t going to honour coupons, they shouldn’t sign up for them. The course is awfully wet, poor drainage. Tee boxes are almost under water it seems. Lots of repairs being done on fairways. They water way to much.

Thought the course was in great shape! The greens were lush and looked slow, but they were quite fast! Great! I have golfed the course a handful of times over the last 10 years and I would have to say it is in the best condition I have seen!
