this a real gem
We got in on a special great price. Beautiful course, scenic views, rolling hills. Challeging but fair. Greens were medium speed, but very undulating and challeging. I really enjoyed my first time playing it and would go back again. Took a few bad lines off tees that I would not do again(10 and 17 come to mind).
Not good enough
I am not a good enough golfer to not be scared of hitting a trailer or a house on this course. I am not sure if I would play it again, especially after a couple of inadvertent shots. If this course did not weave in and out of a residential zone, I would be more inclined to play it.
Golfing amongst the summer vacationers
Nice staff, course was good. Not too busy for my son and I. It was interesting playing amid the. Summer homes and holiday trailers. At one point had a dog run out onto the fairway. It had escaped from its owner. Owner retrieved him quickly. Was funny! Would come back to go,f here again. Restaurant was very yummy!
Very scenic course at Pine Lake
The natural topography makes every hole a different challenge. Course conditions and greens were good even during extended dry and windy spring weather.
An excellent course for intermediate and advanced golfers alike.

Got a great deal.
- Shorter course with a good amount of hazards
- Can see the lake from certain holes
- It was a monday so pace of play was quick
- Friendly staff
- Would play again
Whispering Pines Golf and Country Club
This course was pleasant, had enough water & sand traps to be challenging. You get a nice view of the lake on some of the holes.
