Delta Golf Club

About
Formerly the site of a cedar swamp, Delta Golf Club was covered in blackberry bushes when it was being developed in 1971. The golf course was completed in a record 64 days and opened officially in 1975. Since then, the course has garnered a faithful following due to its player-friendly layout featuring wide-open fairways and immense, approachable greens. The club is also known for its friendly atmosphere and the affordable green fees. The masters-length layout has an interesting variety of holes with a good mix of par 3s, 4s and 5s. There are trees dotting the golf course, especially along the fairways, and strategically placed bunkers, both of which require accurate shot making. Putting on the fast greens also requires some skill. Delta Golf Club is made even more challenging by the water hazards that come into play throughout.

Good Course for Great Value Twilight
Great deal on twilight golf. Pace is very good, as most golfers are medium to good.
short and tricky
The course is short but has some challenging holes which will test your game. The greens were in great shape, the fairways not so much with alot of patchy areas. There are some wet spots where it looks like they may have some broken pipes. But the downside to this course is the layout. What is now the back nine (make sure to adjust your GPS) is just plain weird and the hike from #13 to #14 is ridiculous. You have to walk past parts of at least three other holes and signage is lacking throughout. I don't want to be too hard on the place. It's still worth a visit.
Fairway and green conditions are great.
The new management keeping this golf course in very good condition.
Pleasantly surprised
I hadn't played this course since the 90s. Used to be an average, muddy course. Now it's GREAT. Many improvements. Course in perfect shape. Restaurant could be better but all in all a great day of golf.
GREAT VALUE FOR SENIORS 55+
Interesting Par 68 course cut into a very small patch of land so tight everywhere. Many spots the fairways and tee blocks are near so keep your heads up when walking from green to tee. No near misses so not that bad.
Good mix of short and longer par 3's Par 4's and a couple par 5's.
Greens are in great shape, some holes play narrow if you fade the ball. Left off the tees lot of trees.
Not a lot of Bunkers but strategically placed to come into play.
They've reversed the 9's and changed the layout. Can be confusing.
GPS App isn't updated to their change so go old school for yardage or use a Rangefinder.
Executive course, easy to get to.
Friendly staff.
Pace was a little slow, but not unexpected.
GPS was a little confused, as it appears the nines were reversed from what my garmin wanted (10-18, 1-9).
Course in great condition.
Very nice, well maintained course to which they aren the process of doing lots of improvements.
Course was fairly busy but pace pf play was still excellent.
Very friendly and courteous staff.
Surprise
The course was a very nice place to play. It was somewhat challenging and the greens were quick I'll definitely go back there to play
Not an easy time
This course is not that easy as it looks but,it's fun and staff are very good.
Good service covers poor course condition
The course was wet, busy, and not well maintained. However, the proshop staff was very accommodating my need and very friendly whenever I interacted with. For the price, this is an excellent choice.
Average
Ive played here several times and it's not anything special. Its a decent facility and maybe even good for most average golfers.
For avid golfers I think its probably a place where you would get annoyed with the divots left, not perfectly cut fairways and some issues with etiquette.
Overall, a decent place to go if you had to.

Are you on the pga tour?
Value play
Course is Ok for the price....
Best after a week or so of dry weather otherwise quite water logged
great day
could not of been better. Nice people, great course, lots of sunshine and a deal. What could be better.
Good beginner course
Picked this course as it was my girlfriend's first game in six months and she was freaking out about playing a full length course right off the bat.
Turns out that this was a good choice as even though this was a shorter course, she petered out.
Course was very damp but not unusual given the amount of rain in previous days.
Greens were quick enough but need a few good weeks of growth to clean up the many ball marks that have accumulated.
Good value for the money.
