Formerly the site of a cedar swamp, Delta Golf Club was covered in blackberry bushes when it was being developed in 1971. The golf course was completed in a record 64 days and opened officially in 1975. Since then, the course has garnered a faithful following due to its player-friendly layout featuring wide-open fairways and immense, approachable greens. The club is also known for its friendly atmosphere and the affordable green fees. The masters-length layout has an interesting variety of holes with a good mix of par 3s, 4s and 5s. There are trees dotting the golf course, especially along the fairways, and strategically placed bunkers, both of which require accurate shot making. Putting on the fast greens also requires some skill. Delta Golf Club is made even more challenging by the water hazards that come into play throughout.

Good beginner course

Picked this course as it was my girlfriend's first game in six months and she was freaking out about playing a full length course right off the bat.
Turns out that this was a good choice as even though this was a shorter course, she petered out.
Course was very damp but not unusual given the amount of rain in previous days.
Greens were quick enough but need a few good weeks of growth to clean up the many ball marks that have accumulated.
Good value for the money.

A short course without much challenge

Nice medium length course with mostly beginners playing. Nice value but not something am experienced golfer would go.

My favorite course! Great risk and reward golf challenge, 4 d price.

As long as the prices don't keep going up Delta is a great course for the money. Maybe it is because the course keeps improving is the reason for the creeping prices but if you have the ability to play at flexible times you can still find bargain golf at Delta. It has a number of great risk and reward holes that make it interesting for even the best golfer. That is why I love Delta plus it is only 5 minutes from home.RD

Slow play

Had to wait not only every hole, but every shot. Very slow pace if play.
