Eighteen Pastures Golf Club

Got a phone call three hours before my teatime from Wayne Lindberg telling me he’s not honoring my GolfNow teatime and canceling it as he doesn’t make any money on it so my question is why is GolfNow promoting this guy or this course? He was very rude he didn’t even offer us a different teatime. Just basically didn’t want us there because we booked through GolfNow. He was very rude.

We booked a tee time last night and got a call this morning from someone claiming to be the owner. He very rudely said that he’d canceled our tee time and we wouldn’t be golfing there today because he was having problems with GolfNow. He said he doesn’t make any money through GolfNow and he was tired of it. We won’t EVER attempt booking there again.

It’s your pretty average course, sometimes they have a deal that I like to go for $21 per person green fee so it’s pretty cheap for a bigger course. Golf carts are a little out of shape but still work. Overall it’s not bad. I enjoyed my play here

Please clean up this place it’s a gorgeous spot just needs a little work get rid of the garbage the old golf carts a little work on the greens would be nice..

And proper signage if you don’t know where you’re going so easy to get lost.

90% of the course was burnt out so bad it was hard pan underneath it so your ball could go anywhere once it hit the brown fairway.

Poor markings to indicate where the next hole is, got lost 4 times trying to find the next tee box….grrrrrrr…..front nine not bad for walking however back nine took twice as long to play due to mountainous terrain which no one advised me prior to tee off.

$45 for a power cart twice as much as my round, ridiculous for price.

Not coming back.

For my first time playing golf here, I was deeply impressed by the court's layout, but the experience of being transported by a prison van was something I'd never experienced before.

This course has always had a soft spot in my heart. To me, the charm to this course is how laid back it is. I don't come here to shoot my best rounds (I'm 85-92 golfer and my best score here is a 102). I come here for being in nature with friends, without people pushing pace of play, having a couple beers and happily enjoying a golf experience without the high nosed expectations of other golf courses. It's a great course to take a friend who is learning (supposing they have the mental fortitude to lose a lot of balls and the physical stamina for what's essentially a 5-6 hour hike) or just a place to be with your buddies or family and have a laugh while you play without worrying about disturbing another group.

With that being said, I've been here when the greens were fluffy and mushy (we would play automatic 2 putts because putting fairly on them could be impossible), or when the fairways are like concrete, or when it hasn't been cut in days. However, when I played on Sunday, it was in the best shape I've ever seen it. The greens probably need some seed and sand, but they were firm enough that I could stop my ball on the green and rolled true enough that we didn't feel the need for any special exceptions for putts. The fairways were nice enough to hit a fairway wood or bounce a wedge off of, and the rough was long enough that it stopped your ball from rolling out of play without making it impossible to hit from. Whatever they've done this year has been really good to see!

The staff(only one at that time), didn’t welcome me as I used GolfNow and asked me not to use it from next time.

It was an extremely difficult course. I am a beginner but I was with those who have a fair bit of experience who also found it very challenging. The fairways were long and narrow and lined with trees. Also the cart paths were very rocky and hilly terrain.

First, they didn't accept the Golf Now rate an dcharged me $55 more. The only thing good about this course is that no one plays here so you have lots of time and is very peaceful. All other items that I could comment on are terrible.

Just put some effort into up keeping; maybe some water. Nit much else to say

If you are looking for serious golf, this probably isnt going to be the course for you. It was enjoyable for us as we had new golfers and it wasn't busy or rushed. 2 or 3 holes are basically unplayable given the slope of the fairways and the hard ground.

Bring lots of golf balls and lots of beer and you'll probably have fun.

Also, 48 bucks for those power carts is atrocious tho.

Almost unplayable. Zero maintenance. The owner is letting it die a slow death

It had a lot of ground under repair and the layout was scenic, but couldn't find balls even when they plugged. They often run down steep hills if you hit it off the fairway into the rough. Otherwise, a beautiful scenery, and the greens are probably much better now.

It's was hard.. lots of trees.. fairways are very sloped.. you definitely want to rent a cart..

Course condition has deteriorated, some tee boxes can’t see the fairway. Trees everywhere overgrown and hindering vision. Got lost trying to find the next hole a couple of times. Wrong way signage posted. I would not play here again even if it was free. Sorry but true

The 18 Pastures golf course has a natural beautiful environment - mountains, valleys, trees and green. The course was not busy even in a long weekend.

The staffs are friendly and helpful.

The golf cart rental is $48 which is on the high side.

Recommendations to the golf operation - Trim the tree branches (hitting the golf cart) along the paths and fill the pot holes along the cart path. Add more signs for direction.

This golf course offers a unique and challenging experience with its rugged layout, tight fairways, and tricky greens, all surrounded by stunning forest views. However, the course overall needs more maintenance, and the carts are in very bad condition, which can detract from the experience. While the modest clubhouse and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere, those looking for a well-maintained course may be disappointed. Still, for an adventurous round, Eighteen Pastures has its appeal.
