A most pleasant surprise

We were referred to this course by BC Golf Guide, as the exit out of Canada on our 5 day golf trip.

We arrived on a cool, blue sky morning, and were greeted with a cart, and headed up to the pro shop. We were told we were paired with “two members”, and headed to the range and putting green. The range is small, but well done. The putting green was slick, and a preview of what was to come.

We met our member pairing on the first tee, Jimmy and Mrs Brown. They played off the same tees as us, and helped point us in the right direction for the rest of the day. We realized quickly that this is a mountain course.

Conditions were excellent. Tough, but always a path to the green. Greens are perfect, and have a break to the valley no matter what. It was very much a private club experience, no pressure, no problems with pace, and one of the best days of golf we’ve ever had, thanks to Jimmy and Mrs Brown.

When we were leaving, we wanted to buy a souvenir ball marker. The woman behind the counter told us she had just sold her last one. We poked around the pro shop for a few minutes, and she dug around, finding two for us!

I highly recommend this course! The people were great, the course is fun, conditions near perfect, and at their rates, it’s a bargain. The only downside is no gps on the carts. Without those members, some of the holes would have been pretty blind. So play it, twice!

One of Canadas best!

Always in great condition.Excellent use of topography with many elevated tees .Better than other top ranked canadian courses in the area at a better rate.Huge fun factor here with balls carrying and long rollouts yet receptive greens. No gimicky holes.Fantastic vues of the lake and valley. Its one of Furbers best along with Salmon arm and Predator(and Glasgow Hills and Gallaghers).Worth a days drive to play!

Highlight of my Golf trip

Really enjoyed this one... challenging, but not unfair. A couple of 'interesting' holes... but overall very enjoyable!

Excellent condition - greens were quick and true.

I'll be back!

Best Course in Okanagan

We play Fairview quite often and even though we know the course, it constantly presents new challenges.

The greens at Fairview are the best putting surfaces in the Valley.

The staff, from the bag drop, to proshop to restaurant are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

We will continue to play this gem for years to come.

Well Worth the Drive

Fairview was a great experience. Right from bag drop onward.

Great practice facilities including driving range and sand/pitch area.

The pro shop has some high end gear including Galvin Green, which you don't see everyday. Restaurant and club house is great.

The course itself is great. If you play long you can score very well. It was in great shape, has beautiful views of the wineries below and the clean BC air just adds to the whole experience.

I will back coming back to this course for sure. If your within an hour or so, it's well worth the drive to play tis course.

Enjoy!
