About
Sonora Dunes Golf Club is unique in that it sprawls across Canada's only desert, offering a distinctive setting for a round of golf. On every hole on the course, golfers can enjoy scenic views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Osoyoos. The golf course also overlooks the Nk'mip Winery. The Osoyoos area has one of the longest golf seasons in the B.C. interior with long dry summers and mild, snow-free winters. Sonora Dunes is conveniently open year-round. The nine-hole layout is ideal for beginners but will still provide a quick, casual round for more advanced players. It's robust enough to be a fun round for any skill level. Much of the golf course's challenges come from the gently rolling terrain. The subtle ups and downs will test your accuracy and course-management skills.

Great test of golf
Very tidy little course, great for all levels of golf if you keep your wits about you, course management here is absolutely necessary here, buy a yardage guide from the pro shop if it's your first round at this course.
Balls that leave the fairway in the hotter days of summer are gone forever due to the possibility of rattlesnake encounters.
If you enjoy short tight courses you will love this place, Pace of play is good and course conditions for this time of year were very good.

My favourite 9 hole golf course anywhere. I love the challenge of the uphill hole number 6 and the view from the tee box on number 7, and shooting over the pond on 8 and next to the vineyard on 9. What more could you want from golf.

We had a great round at this beautifully maintained and reasonably priced 9 hole golf course. There are different tee off zones to give the course variety as we decided to play 18 holes. Awesome view at the top of hole number 6 and all together a very enjoyable afternoon of golf.
Exciting course
I found this beautiful, exciting 9 hole golf course in Osoyoos, BC very fun to play in an interesting desert climate in Canada. It gradually winds up a mountain and the par 5, number 7 hole gives you and incredible view of Osoyoos lake and town from the tee box. I highly recommend this golf course for any level of golfer.
Great course
This is one of the most picturesque courses we've ever played. Great mix of holes, from a couple of short ones, to one almost 500 yards. Some challenging greens. We will definitely be back.
Best place for family golf
Well watered and maintained fairway and green in a desert! Breath taking panoramic view of Osoyoos from the hill! All in all, two thumbs up for family golfing!
Beautiful "Executive" 9-Hole Course
- classically beautiful, lush green 9-hole course amid the arid desert.
- could do with a few more hazards; sand traps & fescue circles perhaps.
- we saw a beautiful Bull Snake crossing fairway #1!

The course is very playable and has great views.
We enjoy walking this course although there is one tough uphill hole. The course is well maintained and the service is good. The views of Osoyoos lake and the vineyards are fabulous. There is a resort with a winery and restaurants on site.
