About
Nk'Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course (previously known as Cherry Grove Golf & Country Club) is so-named for its diverse landscape that begins on natural desert and smoothly transitions into lush canyons and valleys. In the centuries prior to the course's construction, the Okanagan people referred to the scenic landscape as Nk'Mip, which roughly translates to "flat bottom land at the mouth of the creek or river." Preserving the stunning natural features, including the abundant native flora and fauna, was one of the top priorities when the Osoyoos Indian Band developed the course into a championship layout in 2001. Despite tumbling across a variety of elevation changes, the golf course is easy to walk and provides stunning views of the South Okanagan Valley along the way. The course offers a fair challenge with water hazards and numerous strategically placed bunkers coming into play.

Nice course good value for the price. Very accommodating staff
Great experience
I’ve played this course multiple times and it never ceases to impress me. The course, the staff, the amenities are all first rate. They have some unbelievable deals on their men’s day and Thursdays when they promote Titleist golf balls. If you’re a golfer and in the area you are definitely missing out if you don’t play here!
Disappointed
8 am tee time. Joined two members who were great! Group in front of us was already 2 holes behind after the second hole. So painful. Having to watch them re-tee sometimes three times.,then go hunting for their balls! Members called Pro Shop and they refused to do anything. 2hrs and 45 minutes for front nine . Seems some members are able to play with a different etiquette than other members. No excuses for 5:30 round. Not sure I will be back.
Still great value
Played here twice in last week.. Just had to come back because the greens were so nice and it's such good value as a hot deal.. Once again this place did not disappoint... We'll be back again!
Great shape tee to green
The course is wonderful shape and greens are top shelf... Smooth, true, and reasonably quick.... Great value for your dollar as a hot deal... Definitely worth the stop... I'll be back again...
Great setting, layout and fast greens
Very tough to walk due to steep sections and long distances from green to tee. Magnificent views. Some very unusual but enjoyable holes. Very tight fairways mixed with open fairways. Had to wait on most holes but pace of play wasn’t too bad (4.5 hrs). Nice fast greens with break. Lots of trouble but a fair course to play. I would recommend it for the all round experience and the catering in the clubhouse.
Great condition this fall
Greens still rolling beautiful in October... Course is in perfect condition. Great value as a golf pass hot deal.
Great course.
We are here on a 2 week golf trip. Played Nk'Nip 4 times. The whole course was in great shape, including the tee boxes and the greens. New carts and ball cleaners. Driving range balls are included. The pro shop was well stocked for this time of year and I did buy a pair of shoes at a discounted price. Good value overall. We will be back next year.
Nice course
Greens were fast & in great shape. Challenging! The front nine is much nicer than the back nine.
Wonderful course with beautiful views.
Had a great round with many challenges, but the risk reward holes are rewarding. Great staff, friendly and welcomed us.
