Arrowsmith Golf and Country Club
About
Arrowsmith Golf & Country Club is an executive layout that was designed for year-round play. The layout features smooth greens that are large and undulating, with an average of at least three tiers and rolling fairways that are lined with trees. Between the towering trees, golfers can catch scenic glimpses of Mount Arrowsmith and Echo Valley. A majority of the holes are par 3s but there are two par 5s and three par 4s mixed in. The signature hole is the par-3 12th, which starts off from an elevated tee that is perched 40 feet above the green. Although the golf course provides a good challenge, it can still be finished within three hours. In addition to offering a beautifully manicured course, Arrowsmith also boasts a grass driving range, a practice bunkers, and two putting greens.

Great shape - good little challenge
We had fun and will be back
Great way to spend a day!!!!
Love this course, staff treat you like family, well maintained course. The songbirds and the deer make you feel very peaceful and relaxed.
One enjoyable course
We were fortunate to get team up with Merv and Bernice which was an excellent paring for us with them knowing the course and being our first time there. We had an excellent day on a course in excellent condition. If your tee ball is 100 yards and up it can be an enjoyable round of golf with 13 par 3s giving the short game challenge, with par 4s for that appeal to long ball strikers. There was lots of deer around the course which seem to very tame.
Excellent Value for Money
My favorite course ever. Challenging enough for most golfers. Perfect for intermediate players. A round takes about 3 hours. Great value for money when booked through GolfNow. We usually pay $15 to $20 for 18 holes. Seldom any real delays. Easy to get a tee time and they like golfers. Perfect!
From the young guy
I am 70 and my 3 partners are all older than me thus we rode around the course. The setting is just excellent - beautiful view of Mount Arrowsmith, green grass, and sunshine - lovely sunshine. What's not to like, the ball does run farther when the course is dry. We are not scratch golfers but got our share of pars and even a birdie. Guys used drivers off the tee on 5 holes, great short game course.
Of course the food is good both in terms of selection and quality. We'll be back. Thanks
Warm up fro the season
Always a great course for the short game as it is an executive par 3 course
Not quite a Par 3 track...
#1 - Par 4
#8 - Par 5
#10 - Par 5
#17 - Par 4
#18 - Par 4
Just sayin'
A nice walk
course is always a good bet in poor weather as it is short and relatively dry. Great staff!
Great course
Great course love it here and so does my wife, easy to get her to play golf on a course like this one. Lots of fun.3 hours of enjoyment.
A Foggy Day
Because this course plays short it was an excellent choice for a foggy day.
Great little course
I play this course half dozen times a year. I do like this course as my whole family can play there. Don't be fooled by the shorter yardage as there is many challenges with proper club selection for up and downhill shots. Golfers of all levels will enjoy your round.
Mostly par 3's. Nicely laid out.
Very busy on this day so played a little slower than usual. Greens were in good shape though a little slow for this time of year, (have had a long hot summer).
A great workout for your short game!
This course is a great place to work on your short game. 13 of the 18 holes are Par 3, but don't be fooled.....The greens are surrounded by lush mounds and if you bounce off the wrong side, you'll be pitching up and onto the green. Bounce off the correct side, and you might see a generous kick towards the pin.
The setting is also very tranquil and late day rounds are awesome. I would recommend a cart as the course - though short - is quite hilly. On a summer day, playing "pooped" will take the fun out of your round...
If you take advantage of the deals on Golf Now, you can play a round of 18 with a cart for as little as $25....
The ladies (and Paul) in the pro shop are very nice. The restaurant offers tasty food and dining on the clubhouse patio is absolutely top notch.
I recommend this course to golfers of all skill levels.
This course !
This course is great nice greens , challenging, I like it doesn't take long to do 18 holes. Very nice course!
Fun on Canada Day!
Hubby and I played Arrowsmith on July 1st and had a very nice time. We've played here a few times over the years and always enjoy ourselves.
I booked our round through GolfNow so we got extremely good value. As an executive style course the holes are shorter but very entertaining. The greens were in nice shape and challenging for us. The large evergreen trees provided a welcome puddle of shade so we didn't get overheated and give division to the fairways.
Slight detraction was the beverage cart service was done at 2:30, our tee time was 2:45. Be aware and load up at the restaurant before you head out.
We love to sit in the shade of the outdoor patio after we're done and enjoy a glass of wine and an appetizer or two. A beautiful setting looking out over the pond's fountain, the 18th fairway and Mt. Arrowsmith as a backdrop.
We will be back!
very pretty course
enjoyable and yet challenging , not too much water.
Good for beginners
Many par 3's made it nice for a relatively new golfer. Walked 18 holes in under 4 hours with a foursome. Greens were fast and course was in great condition. Staff upon check-in was friendly and helpful. Ate at the restaurant and it was great value for the money.
Great course to play with my better half
Yes this is a smaller course but a great challenge. Club selection is the key with the uphill and downhill holes. Fairways are good and rough is a challenge. Greens are a challenge and were in fairly good condition for this time of the year. Play this course year round but late spring early summer it is awesome. Food at the restaurant is very good. We will be back
U.S. Open Rough
My wife and I played our round with another couple we met at the first tee. They were both members and were very friendly and we enjoyed playing with them.
Since I reviewed this course last year nothing much has changed, except the length of the rough, it was in my opinion ridiculous to say the least, time after time when one of us hit a ball into the rough we had to spend an inordinate amount of time searching for it as the balls would sink to the bottom and were almost impossible to see unless you were almost standing on them. When you have a course that is mostly played by older folks and beginners, 5 to 6 inch rough is very hard to play from and adds nothing to the experience.
Beautiful scenery, course was in great shape and the staff very friendly. Had an enjoyable game.
