Arrowsmith Golf and Country Club

Beautiful, well-maintained course. Even in winter course conditions were decent. Just the right distance to walk 18 holes without needing a power golf cart. 13 par 3s, 3 par 4s and 2 par 5s keep it interesting for everyone. Occasionally have had to wait if it has been super busy or if there has been a delay of some sort, but typically the pace of play there is good. Pro shop and Micky J staff are friendly. Micky J’s has some great deals and they also sell ready made sandwiches that are perfect to grab before your game.

Great executive course. Course is well deserved of some winter upgrades. Pro shop attendant needs some training in customer service and basic people skills…like a simple greeting. Sourpuss! Does not help the cause and should not be a “front of house” employee.

My golf buddy and I had a great round of golf. My best round ever. Great feeling finishing up the 18th hole putt for par and having pro shop guy soulessly staring us as we finish with great excitement as he enjoys a smoke! Just awesome! Not one word to us as we finish. Just deadpan expression. Just the kind of emissary you want representing your facility. Time to pack in bud!

Challenging course, beautiful scenery, great staff and good food. Whata more can you ask for.

Arrowsmith is our ‘home’ course and we always feel at home with the wonderful staff and consistently great golf experience. (And sometimes even my score!)

The course is always a challenge given the tough pin placement on the tricky greens. Maintenance staff do a great job regularly caring for greens and fairways.

The 19th hole offers many perfect beverages, meals and snacks served by great and interactive staff. You can happily wind down from a fun round at Mickey J’s.

I am a member of the course and love the layout, challenge and all the amenities our course offers. Trees, water and sand make you think about your shots. Undulating greens are also fun. Food is great and the monthly specials are very reasonable and tasty. There is wonderful wildlife, resident eagles, deer and right now swans.

The course has been in great shape for most of this year, especially the latter part. The greens have been really puttable, with most being at good speed and not bumpy.

The staff in the pro shop is very accommodating and always do their best to see that you have a good experience. The 19th Hole is also a pleasure to stop in at after the round. All in all a great place to spend a day!

Views up to a mountain and a well-maintained course with a nice cold beer after. This is a hidden gem for the less experienced golfer or those working on their short game. This course is well laid out and ideal for walking. But carts are always available too.

I enjoy the mix of short holes and there is enough relief to keep the game interesting and varied. It is popular in the summer months, but that is good - it is a sign that this course is valued.

We have played at Arrowsmith a hand full of times. It's a very nice course and well laid out. It was busy the last time we played and the pace was a bit slow. Most times it's been fine. Every time we've played here the course has been in great shape. I think it has to be one of if not the best executive courses we've played.

This is a very nice course for the average golfer. It is very walkeable and with a few short holes, it challenges your short game.

Always most enjoyable and has a nice clubhouse to enjoy when you are done.

Being a short 18 hole track and considering how many new golfers on the East side, Arrowsmith has become the Mecca for retired beginner golfers. If it were not for Golf Now and the sometimes great rates, I would never go there - if you are just a twosome be prepared to spend as much as three + hrs and only pull the driver out 4 times. If you live in Qualicum Beach, it’s convenient and an easier option but it’s gotten far busier than 2-3 yrs ago.
