Good value
The staff was friendly and helpful. The pace of play was excellent. The only negative thing was th course needs some grooming. Balls in the rough where hard to find unless you where right over the ball. I believe they are working on that.
Good early season short round
Played in the afternoon on Monday, Apr 2, 2018. The course was in very good condition, better than I expected.
Join Our Saturday Business Ladies’ Golf Club
We play out of Mylora every Saturday from April to October. New golfers are welcome to join us. Many of us have made lasting friendships from our Mylora group. Check out the Mylora Facebook page. The course is a challenging Executive Course with some par 4’s and rest par 3’s. The new management is making many positive changes to the course and from what I’ve seen so far, they are definitely on the right track to outstanding improvements. Enjoy your next round of golf at Mylora in Richmond.
A great day on the golf course!
The great day started when we arrived at Mylora. Bill was very welcoming, engaging and professional. It was a beautiful day and although it had rained a couple of days before, the course was dry and in good condition. There were only a few muddy spots off the main fairways. All in all we had a great day of golf and since there were not too many golfers we were able to play at a leisurely pace. We certainly will be back!
Great customer service.
This is a great course and Marcel and Corinne were amazing. Love it.
Just worst so far
- Course condition: dry. not enough green everywhere.
-Pace: way way too many people, waiting time equal to playing time.
-Staff: stood up to check in for 15min, unfriendly.
-Value: rather practice at driving range
-Course layout: all the indicated length on the tee were shorter between 10 to 25 yards.
Will never play again.
A nice round of golf in the afternoon
My wife and I were greeted at the pro shop by a friendly young man who processed everything quickly and efficiently. We teed off before our tee time and were off at a nice casual pace. We didn't have to wait and we were not 'pushed.' It was a nice casual , enjoyable afternoon of golf with my wife. The only negative thought I have is that the fairways were a bit rough in spots and the tee boxes need to have some grass.
Pace of play
Last time we play that we almost wait every hole. Also the yardage does not match with gps too
My Mylora
This is a great executive golf course for the novice learning to play the game. There are a good variety of distances that will prepare you for a full size course. The staff are welcoming and entertaining and offer great options for beer and food after your round.
...Ohhh...did I mention the excellent $3.99 breakfast?
A great way to spend the day. Thank you Mylora!
Fine Executive Course
Greens in great shape. Tee boxes need work. Very uneven and dead grass. Overall a decent tune-up course
Great for golfers of all skill levels. Will always be go to golf course.
I've been playing this course since I was a raw beginner in 2000 when I lived in Vancouver. I've played this course in the wettest and driest of weather (which I highly suggest to play in the warmer months since the drainage isn't the best). Despite the less than desirable drainage conditions the one constant throughout all those years was the quality of service. I've always treated the staff with respect and they treated me back 10x over (sometimes too friendly if you know what I mean). Regardless, it gets busy at times and sometimes it would take at long a 4 hours to play this executive sized course, but that's ok. With the extra waiting time between holes, it gave me the opportunity to experiment with certain shots. Because of that, instead of making 7 and 8s on par 3s I down to making pars and birdies now. I live in Surrey now and while there's still some good courses in my area, this will always be my go to course.
Great little course
I've played this course many times over the years. I love the size of it. It can be done in 3 hours or so. Currently the greens are recovering from spring aerating but other the course is almost always in good shape. It was a perfect course for my wife's first game (and mine many years ago).
It's been a wet winter and the fairway and cart paths reflect that. All the staff were out in full force working on the course though. The restaurant is great. Good food and great prices.
As much as I like the course, he's right. Some of the tee boxes are uneven.
