Enjoyed our day. Things could be better.
No Marshall's on course. No Starter.
Twice the group behind drove a ball into our space!
Course is tight and balls from other fairways often entered ours.
Take out only. Food was OK.
Greens and fairways in good condition.
Not going to rush back.
Good value and pace of play.
Nice easy course to play. Enjoyed our round. It is an old course but nicely kept. A little noisy next too Freeway.
Great day
Early tee off, perfect weather, course was playing well. Few dry spots but was to be expected. Greens were good. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately the off course amenities were closed. All in all, a Great day.
Great for learners to the game
This course is old and a bit rough round the edges. Tees are rock hard and patchy . greens are small like up-turned saucers but for a 9 hole evening round with 2 inexperienced golfers it was fine
GOOD PUBLIC GOLF COURSE
fAIRWAYS AND GREENS IN GOOD SHAPE. tEE BOXES NEED LOT OF WORK.
Our starting time was at 2:03 PM, the starter came to get us at 1:45 and was offended we were not ready to play.
Slow foursome in need of Etiquette Upgrade.
Our playing partners canceled. After we checked with the starter we caught up to the foursome ahead of us on the second hole. At the third the 4th par three was clear and we putted out before they finished teeing off. Walking towards them would have been a good opportunity to waive us through and although they looked at us they walked on. We then made the wise decision to bypass the 4th hole and went to the 5th and enjoyed the rest of our day. We never encountered the group ahead of us, as they were long gone. Probably the most relaxing and enjoyable round ever at this beautiful course. Within a few holes the foursome we overtook was at least 2 holes behind and we were able to finish our round in 3 1/2 hours. There is a lesson to be learnt here about being mindful of the pace of play.
I love playing all over the Frazier Valley and golf snob is not in my vocabulary! I find , to tune your game its play everywhere, green acres gives me small greens to shoot into to help me refine approach shoots. Easy to walk for all ages . Have fun ! Rule- 36.5(a).
