Greenacreas a Gem in Richmond
The course itself is fairly open and there are only a few areas that a lost ball is possible on a poorly hit shot. The course itself is in great shape and the greens are excellent. The tee boxes were a little beaten up but still playable.
The sprinkler turned on while we are still playing
We don’t understand why the sprinkler set to turn on while lots of people still on the course for sunset time.
It was not dark yet but we could not continue as the the grass was getting wet on the tee box
Disappointed for playing first time this year
Decent
Greenacres is a in good shape while the greens are slow and could use a rollout they’re soft with only green no burnout spots. The course itself is in good shape. Pace of play, you should be in and out of there in four hours.
Good bang for your buck
Fairways were excellent greens even better. Nice spongy feel not dry at all. Steady pace of play. Best conditions I've seen there for quite a while. Lots of spring rain probably helped. Nice cold refreshments after.
Overall it's a decent course and worth getting out there.
The course is in good shape. The putting greens need alot of attention. Quite bumpy. But the rest of the course is groomed and taken care of.
Greenacres amazing value
It may not be the most challenging for advanced players, but the greens are almost perfect, great fairways, enough length and challenge for your average player's. Beats being in an office or at home doing nothing.
Good times with friends
Good day on the course with friends, weather was good. There were a few greens that appear to have some scar tissue, not sure what from, but otherwise conditions were good.
Great value for the money
Had a great time yesterday at Greenacres. For the time of year, the course is in pretty food condition. It an open golf course, so you do have to be aware of people playing the whole next to you. The only real problem that I could see are the greens. They are just littered with small holes all over them. It was like walking on the moon. Not aeration. Definitely will come back when they’ve solved the problem.
