Great course
The course is in great shape, staff was on point with the starter and beverage cart. Couldn’t ask for a better round of golf. Thanks again!!
Spring Golf Manitoba
The greens are in great shape, slow but why wouldn't they be. It is Spring and we're 2 weeks ahead of time. Not sure what the superintendent and crew did last fall before closing things down for the winter. But it worked great for the Spring Golf Opening.Great job. Fairways are soft in some places and still drying out, Not much rollout but that's to be expected and the rough is rough just the way it's supposed to be.
Book around and enjoy Spring Golf in Manitoba.
Spring Golf
First thing, it's spring time in Manitoba and the courses are just starting to open up. I'm not quite sure what the grounds people and superintendent did at the end of last season but it sure turned out. The greens were a little slow (but that's to be expected) however they were in great shape. Get a little rain on them and the spring slowness will quickly be forgotten. The Greens are in great shape. There is some work to be done on most fairways however let's remember it's still early for golfing in Manitoba. Book around and give it go. I'm quite sure you won't be disappointed.
Fun course
Staff were diligent in blowing fallen leaves off the fairways and greens! And the greens were in great condition and quite fast!
A twosome in front of us held us up somewhat, because they would just saunter but the threesome in front of them seemed quite slow as well. Our foursome took that in stride, but the threesome behind us was very impatient. A good course marshal should have taken care of all this but the course did not have a marshal.
All in al, our group had a great time and played in just over 4 hours.
It's Fall Time
The Greens are good and the fairways are clean and give you a good roll out.
Remember this is Fall Golf so don't be too hard on yourself.
Enjoy the days we have left.
Fall Golf
Greens are in great shape and fairways are good also.
Remember this is Fall Golf. So carry a couple of extra golf balls.
Not a great Golf Course
Tee boxes are very beaten up. Hard to find a good place to place your ball and your feet are in divots or low spots. Fairways are like hitting off core pasture. One redeeming feature is the greens are in good shape. Friendly staff.
Nice course would love to play again in season!
It's September so as expected leaves everywhere (the greens were a bit of a sore spot for this) and the fairways were dry so weird bounces were a bit of an issue.
Overall a solid course just outside the city!
