Spring Golf Winnipeg

Considering this is Spring Golfing in Southern Manitoba the course was in good shape.

Yes there was some winter kill but not enough to be called damaging to my score. Fareways and rough are in good shape considering it’s spring.

Greens are generally in good shape for spring golf here in Manitoba. On the greens when hitting your ball , remember it’s spring golf so you my need to hit your ball normal+.5 to get close to the pin.

Always a good experience.

Larter's Is a nice layout close to the city. It's almost always in good shape. It's not the cheapest course around but it's a fair price. I'm not a fan of the shortened hole on the back nine.

Excellent design and beautiful club house.

Located just outside Winnipeg, in St. Andrews, this course is located in a beautiful neighborhood and is a well-designed, attractive course. The club house is also large and superb for dining and weddings. Good pro shop. This is one of those courses where you can't wait to play it again. The design is modern and I have always found it to be in great shape. Some of the greens are very tricky due to their speed and slope. The whites are 5589 yards with a slope of 122. The last time I played it, the cost was $37 to walk. Well worth it.
