Acton Golf Club

Teed at 11:50AM, the pace of play was excellent. Just minor waiting in some of the tee boxes. I will be back for sure.

There are many many golf clubs to choose from in Southern Ontario. Spend your money at another one that will treat you with hospitality, and that is run is a proper way. With a two hour frost delay you would expect a phone call to tell you all the tee times were backed up, they gave us no notice. Before we go out when they said we can play until dark, but then a very rude GM who should absolutely not be in his position pulls everyone off the course with an hour left of sunlight and 3 holes left. All he hero repeating was “Well I’m the GM”, well congrats and sorry about ya disturbing your bedtime but but we’re paying customers and we’re already told play until dark. I have read many other bad reviews about the staff here being rude. The course itself isn’t anything special either. GO TO ANOTHER COURSE.

Always a fun track to play. Tee decks are usually beat up but greens role pretty good.

Took us four hours to complete the round ( 18 holes). Seen the Marshall once when we where at the 17th. We waited almost every hole from 2 to 18.

Decent price for good pace of golf In avenge Condition and friendly staff. I played twice here this season both early in AM and mid-afternoon.

This course is great for young golfers as it has many different types of holes from long par 4s to a 78 yd par 3. This is great to walk and the pace of play is great.

I enjoyed this course. not being a long ball hitter I was able to have a decent game and not be overwhelmed by how far I needed to hit a ball. some of the small greens made it challenging even though the holes were short. I would recommend this course for a nice day.

I play Acton a couple of times per year. I know it’s a country course so keep that in mind. A lot of holes are quite tight with lots of water, so iron accuracy is important. Greens are small. Most tee boxes were a disaster (as in no grass left) but this is later in the season. As with all Golf North courses you seem to pay a higher rate than what the course provides. Ariss Valley is cheaper for example. Always busy.

The pace of play was terrific...

The men’s tee blocks were badly worn.....was difficult to find grass!

The greens looked a little rough as well....usually they are in pretty good shape!
