disappointed as we were rained out and course does not give rain checks if booked through golfnow...sad
Used to be a very decent golf course. Not anymore. The tee decks were uneven and had no grass. Just sand. The greens are good....always have been. For the advanced golfer....not a good place
You better play golf alot
This course is Tough , and that can make the game or experience less enjoyable.
If you play Golf three times a week for the last 10 years , there is nothing wrong with this course , however if you play once or twice every couple weeks you may not actually enjoy your game here .
Built in 1945 some of the tree lines and tunnels coming off the tee blocks are very narrow , don't hook , slice or otherwise your tee shot or your in trouble , even worse for rt handers.
And since each shot with the exception of the the 9 the and 18th must nearly be perfect to even par the holes , intermediate level or worse beware .
Fairways are up and down like a preteen girl .
Even trimming back trees of the tees would help .
People and staff are great . Maybe I'll put my driver away next time , but what fun would that be ?

Nice layout, fairways were nice although other areas the ground was very hard. Good value for the money.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Course in great shape and greens in excellent shape. Fairways ok with a few dry spots from lack of rain but overall in good shape. Have seen deer on the course and close to the Air Force base Which brings back memories of our youth as parents were stationed there.
A great place for a relaxing game of golf.

This courses' greens are excellent!!
The course is in great shape when you consider ing the way weather has been.
Greens in very good shape.
Fairway s good.
Tee boxes need to be addressed and top dressed.
Exceptional staff
It was my first time at Roundel and I couldn’t get over how the staff went above and beyond to be supportive to me. I locked my keys in the trunk and they tried to help and were very kind to allow me to leave my car at the bag drop area while I played 9 holes. They made my day so much less stressful. The course was in great condition.

Previous reviews indicated the tee blocks needed attention, well I can tell you they’ve been improved. We had a great morning, and we were done in three hours
We ran into a few areas that were sparse but no complaints

This course has very open and forgiving fairways
I hate the first hole. It's a par 3 with a very small, elevated green, making it hard to hit . Not a good start for a round. The rest of the course is great. Nice layout with forgiving fairways. The greens are always in good shape as well as the fairways. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

This course is great to play
With the extreme hot weather the greens were in great condition smooth and true.
Course was in very good condition.
Only issue is the tee boxes. They need to be top dress.They r uneven and beat up.
