About
Heritage Hills Golf Club, conveniently located just minutes from downtown Barrie, has an interesting layout that features a combination of wide open, links-style holes and holes framed by mature forest. Although there are numerous strategically placed bunkers and swales, there are also generous landing areas that make it accessible to players of all skill levels. Willow Creek winds through the hilly landscape, offering beautiful scenery. Heritage Hills Golf Club’s greens are large and undulating, and there is the occasional double-tiered green. Although there is only one distinct water hazard, which is on the 12th, the course requires many demanding carries over the creek. Heritage Hills also offers a grass range with target greens and a practice putting green for golfers to use.

Needs some TLC
Nice course but concerned with the lack of care (gone downhill over the last couple of years). Bunkers are not being maintained, ball washers with very little to no water (extremely bad smell). Cart paths in bad shape (potholes). Looks like ownership does not care about the condition of the course. Staff was great though.
Long weekend afternoon play
Great course, however, bunkers need some work - more sand, as they wasnt much there to play out of, making for even more challenging shots. Otherwise, pace of play for a long weekend was very good. Greens were well kept and pin placement was challenging for Sunday.
Great course for the money
This course is very challenging but fair. The greens are tricky to read and fairly quick for early May. The only reason who I have 3 stars to conditions is because the bunkers are needing a full renovation on almost every hole. Grass growing inside, algae, water, plants , etc. otherwise great course.
Why dont
...the course tell you when they have spiked the greens. I would have played another course if I had known. Not cool to turn up, pay and them play the course in less than optimal condition !!!!

We need rain!
Mother Nature needs to help with some rain. Maintenance is trying to keep the greens good, the traps are mess.
Good overall course
Good course for the cost. Greens are always fun to putt on. Fast and well maintained. I went durn a very dry summer so far ways were a bit dry
