About
Heritage Hills Golf Club, conveniently located just minutes from downtown Barrie, has an interesting layout that features a combination of wide open, links-style holes and holes framed by mature forest. Although there are numerous strategically placed bunkers and swales, there are also generous landing areas that make it accessible to players of all skill levels. Willow Creek winds through the hilly landscape, offering beautiful scenery. Heritage Hills Golf Club’s greens are large and undulating, and there is the occasional double-tiered green. Although there is only one distinct water hazard, which is on the 12th, the course requires many demanding carries over the creek. Heritage Hills also offers a grass range with target greens and a practice putting green for golfers to use.

Fun day
Golfed with son and friends. Great day greens are a challenge, sand traps were wet, but with all the rain that is to be expected.
I like this course
Strange Day
Booked with Golfnow, got there and they were 20 minutes behind. Went in to pay and the $38.70 I was supposed to pay jumped up to $50 for a 5pm tee time. Asked for a cart, was told no even though there were a few left and the person I was paired with had a cart. Left after 9 holes, pace was super slow and really didn’t feel like waiting every shot. Very disappointed, played there a bunch this year and never had this problem before. I would advise not going in twilight, seems the problem arises after 3pm
The course is challenging and in great shape considering the dry summer.

To me it’s worth to drive from Toronto. Especially this year all corses are so busy and trying to over charge to play.
Heritage is always fair and nice truck.
Unexpected gem
Booked a round without knowing much about the course. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and went out of their way to make my round enjoyable. Some challenging holes that make you play smart rather than just grip and rip. I will be back.

Course was in great shape. Probably the best I have seen the fairways and greens since the place opened years ago. Really enjoyed it today..
