Heritage Hills Golf Club
About
Heritage Hills Golf Club, conveniently located just minutes from downtown Barrie, has an interesting layout that features a combination of wide open, links-style holes and holes framed by mature forest. Although there are numerous strategically placed bunkers and swales, there are also generous landing areas that make it accessible to players of all skill levels. Willow Creek winds through the hilly landscape, offering beautiful scenery. Heritage Hills Golf Club’s greens are large and undulating, and there is the occasional double-tiered green. Although there is only one distinct water hazard, which is on the 12th, the course requires many demanding carries over the creek. Heritage Hills also offers a grass range with target greens and a practice putting green for golfers to use.

Bad round
You have to drive through gravel road to get there. The course is not in good shape and you have to stay on cart path for most of the fairways. Won't be back.
Best course for the paying public in the Barrie area.
Always a great round. Pleasant reception and very good pace of play. The superintendent has done a marvelous job on the greens where as many area courses have suffered a great deal of winter kill. Great challenge for the 8 to 20 handicapper. Love this track!
Great value
Course was in great shape despite such a rainy spring. Staff was friendly as always.
Swamp city
This place is a joke. So wet everywhere. And to charge full price for playing in these conditions is ridiculous. The road getting in is all mud. Cant even put gravel down. Also cart paths are the same, no asphalt or gravel even. In serious need of ugraded drainage throughout and amenities are so lacking
Great course but very wet
Love th course, people, layout etc, but right now it is too wet to be played properly
Too Wet to Play
The layout is very nice with a combination of parkland and open country. The greens had some winter kill but ran true and were a good speed for this early. However, the course was saturated and it was a shame to put players on it until it had a chance to drain. Another week with decent weather and some wind would have made a lot of difference.
Off Season-very wet
Probably the worst contortions this course has ever been played under. Very wet and spongy, many places weren’t cut due to the mushy ground. They really should have closed the course, but what the heck it was the first round of the year for a couple of us and it was just nice to hit the ball and have some laughs with friends. I will be back when it’s in shape as this course has a pretty fun layout with lots of interesting landscapes both park and links.
HERITAGE
Great little golf course. Variety of Links & Parkland holes to make things interesting. Love playing this track. As always course was in fine Shape. Looking fwd. to going back soon. Get out there and enjoy the upcoming fall colours.
Beautiful Course
The front nine is a challenging course with forestry surrounded by almost every hole. TBack nine is very nice and wide open for beginners and room for error. Course is very well taken care of. This course is very nice for what you pay for. The value is excellent. Will definitely play again.
Great day for golf
Played with a foursome in 4:15hrs. The course was in great shape and I would highly recommend the course
Great course.
One of the toughest tracks in the area.
Greens were in great shape and rolled true.
Fairways were well manicured.
Play the correct tees for your game.
A Welcoming Breeze
First time playing Heritage Hills. The initial holes were through the trees and I forgot this was the start of Muskoka and BLACK FLIES. Fortunately we had a brisk breeze that kept them at home.
The course featured large greens that demanded good lag putting. Well trapped around the greens and off the tees.
Very fair and straight forward course that demanded good shots.
