Heritage Hills Golf Club, conveniently located just minutes from downtown Barrie, has an interesting layout that features a combination of wide open, links-style holes and holes framed by mature forest. Although there are numerous strategically placed bunkers and swales, there are also generous landing areas that make it accessible to players of all skill levels. Willow Creek winds through the hilly landscape, offering beautiful scenery. Heritage Hills Golf Club’s greens are large and undulating, and there is the occasional double-tiered green. Although there is only one distinct water hazard, which is on the 12th, the course requires many demanding carries over the creek. Heritage Hills also offers a grass range with target greens and a practice putting green for golfers to use.

Three and a half hours for 18 holes. Need I say more.
Great bang for the buck. I played early morning. Course is in great shape.
Course is good, especially lay-out.
Good course, not too easy and not too challenge.
But improving for club house and cart path will be great for players.
Great track, tough but fair.
They always have the course in really good shape. Its an approach shot golf course where you have to make sure you get your second shot onto the right part of the green or face a very difficult 2 put. Great value for the price.

The course layout varies from holes cut through wooded areas to open fields. No surprises to any hole but attention must be paid to yardages. Greens have lots of contour creating some very interesting pin placements. Many deals offered at this facility which creates great value for the money.

This course can play tough from the back tees and has a few forced carries that can be tough on shorter hitters. This is a young course that needs some money spent on cart paths (pretty bumpy and gravel so treacherous on those steep hills). Greens are usually in good shape; fairways are hard .

Decent course. Greens are in good shape. Good value for the $35 we payed. Loses it's luster once you get near $50. Overall, enjoyable round and a decent course. I'd recommend it if you're working on your game or if you have some players that don't play much. Real good golfers won't appreciate the track over all.
A neat mix of links and park park golf.
A natural beauty with beautiful vistas. A little rough around the edges- but that was part of its charm. For a young course it shows a lot of maturity. The fairways were well thought out and accented the landscape instead of butchering it. The course intermingles highland golf with park golf. It's not overly challenging,but if you don't pay attention in does have teeth. The greens were crazy but rolled true- lots pf fun. Special props to Les the starter who made my wife totally comfortable from the beginning.

Course well layed out
Course is well layed out and kept in good condition. Need to marshall the course better to speed up play.
Open fairways with huge fast/difficult greens. The wind plays a factor, especially on the back nine.
Links style fairways are wide open with ample hazards including water, sand, and foliage areas. Huge greens make your approach very friendly, but the speed and hills on the greens make them very difficult.

A good overall layout and a variety of hole shapes. Terraine is undulating . Greens are fast and hilly, your work does not end when your on,its just starting again.
