Editor's Note: Anderson Park course at Borden Golf Club was closed for business in 2017. See CFB Borden Golf Club - Circled Pine listing for the remaining opened 18-hole.

Borden Golf Club offers one championship course and also a nine-hole course. Anderson Park, the nine-hole course, was the club's original layout when it opened in 1917. The golf course has a links-style layout that is 3,209 yards from the back tees. There are more par 5s, four to be exact, on the course than par 4s or par 3s. The greens and fairways are well manicured and there are some rough areas. The golf course provides a fair challenge that is accessible to juniors, but also appealing to players of all skill levels mostly due to the very reasonable rates. A military discount is also available.

Course is in very good condition and mostly dry on fairways.

This course is kept in excelent shape all year, the greens are good and tricky at the same time.
Hint: The ball does NOT curl as much as it looks, aim at the hole.

Terrible pace of play

We played there twice and both times it took over 5 hours, primarily due to players with poor/no etiquette. The course itself is very nice, so it's really sad they don't do a better job marshalling.

Not bad, not great

The course is a simple straight forward track without any "OMG" holes. It is easy to walk and if paying $25 or less, worth the money for sure.

This course provides great value with generally uninterrupted play.

The Golf Course is of significant length with ample opportunity to use the driver. Fairways for the most part ensure that your golf game is managed otherwise it'll cost you strokes. The fairways are uniform in the central areas and increasingly difficult to get a good lie should you wander to the fringes. Your approach shots will be tested by moderate sized greens. Greens are generally consistent and will allow you to read the putts. Golf carts are suggested but this is a great walking course should you be looking to obtain a good workout.
